Anyways, from what I can remember, she's was a writer and she liked to read. I think your youngest sister burned a book of Jo's just to get back at her. She also refused to marry her friend Laurie. She also cuts her hair, so that her mother can travel to visit her sick father. I guess she is a mix of Belle and Mulan.

Jo is proper, but with a little bit of a wild streak. same goes for Jane.

Merida in ways. So what if she reads? Belle is much more well mannered, graceful and traditionally feminine than Jo. Although I suppose in a sense Jo does find her "beast".
