I think it depends on the princess. I think people mainly like Belle because of the whole "I want adventure" thing, they can relate. Personally I still can't figure out what it is that attracts me to Ariel, but I think it's her whole deal of wanting to be in another world. So yes, I guess our desires match. However, I think those who like Pocahontas don't like her for her desires, they just admire her. (that's the reason I like her). So it depends on the princess.

I know mine don't. All I want is something more, but Belle's at my bottom and Ariel is at my top. It only affects me for Mulan, and still, it's more like a sidenote than a main reason she's my #2.

I know my favorite princess has changed over the years, its not all because of the desires. I manily admire the princess I like and love. I might have some desrires but I just admire thier desrires. Like with Pocahontas, I admire her stregnth,bravery and her free spirt and her will to stand up for whats right. And I also admire the love she has between her and John Smith. I know I wish at times that I could have the same courge and faith in herself that she has, as I feel I dont have enough of it. And I also admire Tiana's determation to suceed and to achive her dream. She dosnt let anything stop her to get where she needs to get. And I wish I could be more like that as well, espically in my own dream. I have had life long dream to be an artist/animator,I tryed different things to get there, but at times I let things get in my way to keep from reaching there, I even stoped myself which was big mistake. I even belived even in the non belivers saying that I cant do it or not giving me a chance. And I shouldnt done that, I shouldve just keept at pursing my dream regardless of people belived in me or not, just keep saying I can do it, just like Tiana, instead of falling to thier level. I know now that Im trying to get there and this time Im not gonna let anybody stop me from reaching my dream! I guess thats why I like Tiana soo much! I need to keep saying to myself,"Im Almost There"!

My desires are to live a nice life with a nice job. Nothing fancy or overly stupid. I want to be a history teacher because history is something I love and I'm passionate about. I love Tiana's hardworking attitude and my favourite princesses do tend to be the ones that just want a comfortable life rather than fame and fortune and vast adventure.

Maybe. I'd like adventure as well but I don't like Belle. Then again, like Mulan, I want to make my family proud and like Poca, I'd like peace. (Mulan and Poca are my top 2) So sometimes.
