If she didn't need someone to guide her and take her to the floating lights, I think she would've left way before she turned eighteen. She had the courage, but was practical enough to wait until there was someone to take her to wher she wanted to go IMO.
I think she wouldn't of.After all she believed every word Gothel said to her about the outside world. If Flynn hadn't come,I think she would still be there because she was to scared about the outside world thanks to Gothel! But since Flynn came she found the courage to face the world and realized everything Gothel told her was not all true,so she wasn't as scared.
I kinda think that she would leave but she wouldn't have the courage to stay out. "I am a horrible daughter, I'm going back"
I think she would go back to the tower after all...
Nuh uh. She was way too scared because of the scary stories Gothel told her about the outside world. I bet she would have stayed there for the rest of her life out of fear.

I had this question in my mind and I was gonna post it, guess you beat me to the punch ;)
Well, Rapunzel's quite determined, I think that eventually she might have, but she would have gotten scared or caught and would just run back to the tower.
I honestly don't see her leaving the tower...I know she talked about "wanting" to leave, but I don't think she would have had the guts to do it if Flynn hadn't shown up.
Yes, when she was older, but only just outside the tower. She WOULD NOT have gone out of the clearing, let alone to the kingdom, but just to see the view from her window.
