I think its got a negative percentage because of the historic inaccuracies and its "lack of fun" I'm surprised its so much lower than the others, Princess and the Frog is so so so much worse that Pocahontas posted বছরখানেক আগে.

I also think it is WAY better than Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. In my opinion, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is the "worst" DP movie (I love them all though in my rankings it is #10). I know the critics put Pocahontas down because it's inaccurate to history,but if they went all the way by history, they would have to change the rating of the movie plus it wouldn't be suitable for kids to watch it.If those critics want accuraticy watch the live action Pocahontas movies and documentaries. The Disney version is suposed to suitable for the whole family to watch because kids,so they had to take alot of stuff out.So they just need hush up about it! Of course thats what I feel about it.I still think it's great film regardless if others think it is or not.As long as you love the movie that's all that matters,everybody has thier own oppion. Because of what those critics said is not gonna stop from watching it! I think all of us fans of the movie to tell those critics to get grip don't you think?Disney has the best movies regardless what it is.There are other animaited Pocahontas movies and I think they totaly sucked,they are nothing compared to the Disney verson.The Disney verson is way better espically the music,and animation. posted বছরখানেক আগে.

	becca85 picked Neutral/Not sure/Other: Well, whenever you want to dabble in historical events and alter them to fit your convenience, you're going to run into a lot of opposition somewhere. I like the movie "Pocahontas," it's not even my least favorite, but I am one of those critics of the historical inaccuracies. This is why I am dead set against recognizing Pocahontas and John Smith as a couple, even in DP land. EDIT: My comments above are in no way a support of the Rotten Tomatoes score as it's stated. 	mycrownofjewels picked Neutral/Not sure/Other: Pocahontas has sentimental value to me, so it's tough to consider it the "worst." Still, I don't really consider any Princess films to be inexcusably bad. Some are better than others, but I could sit through any of them and be happy. If anything, I'm not as much of a fan of The Princess and the Frog, although it does have its merits. Perhaps it's because I'm seeing it for the first time when I'm a bit older, but it doesn't hit that emotional chord for me. Or maybe the characters/story are lacking?
