Why does The Open Door get so much hate?

I've noticed recently with the release of their latest album that this album has gotten আরো dislike from অনুরাগী than I thought. I've heard it being called "artsy rather than entertaining" and even a reviewer who didn't like their self-titled album ব্যক্ত "at least it's better than The Open Door". In my opinion, The Open Door is their best studio album to তারিখ and I can't understand why it turns so many people off. I personally like "artsy" সঙ্গীত better than আরো "generic" rock because to me it's আরো interesting. Is it too "weird" for some people?

Yeah, I've even seen some people on ফ্যানপপ say the only "good" songs from that album are Lithium and Call Me When You're Sober... :/

I don't get these people :/ I mean Sweet Sacrifice, Lacrymosa, Snow White Queen, Lose Control.....can't even তালিকা they're just SO SO SO awesome songs! My all time fav songs

that's why I hope এভানেসেন্স will make an album as great as the open door but in the same time has that unique sound that will crush my soul
and I really don't care what the people say ,I প্রণয় the open door and some freaking kids won't make me change my mind

I used hte link, and the first reviews that I could find were all positive. XD Well, I guess that's a good thing...

So basically it's because they have issues with Amy and the line-up change, and it sounds too "different" for them? Well... I guess I kind of figured that already, but number 5 surprises me. আপনি would think someone would be happy any classical influence at all would be put into a rock song. *sighs*
