I was very sad about the cow Nick killed though...

I did get some feels though, because of the Jake/Troy brother-pain. It was really well done in terms of their relationship, and Nick's involvement too. But I'm not sad he's gone.

I answered 'indifferent' the first time around, but I became attached during the next few rewatches, and Jake ended up being my second favorite in the series. Sometimes, he's even my favorite. (Don't tell Troy.) But the way you can feel him losing a little more faith with each scene in Brother's Keeper... it's just devastating. He was so hopeful and idealistic at the beginning, and he's just worn down to nothing by the end. Sam did an incredible job with Jake, and I wish there had been more of him.
