Opinion/Rant time again! Anyway, so as আপনি see in the title, the topic is subunits! The reason for this topic are based on the pictures that আপনি will see at the bottom, and I think I'll credit what I use for these ideas, if there is something I need to.
Let's recap: Back in 2012, the first official subunit of SNSD was, and still is, TTS/TaeTiSeo, with an official statement from SM, saying that they'll change the lineup according to each সঙ্গীত style and concept of the album. They eventually debuted with Twinkle, and made history as the first subunit to ever win 12 trophies during their promotions.
Well, seeing how many trophies they've won, I doubt SM will ever change this subunit since they were so successful. I mean, they picked 3 out of the 5 vocalists, so it was bound to sound great!
I used to think that this subunit was a great idea and a good marketing সরানো for SM, since SNSD didn't do anything during 2012, but that was before SM kept exploiting them in our faces. Now, I'm not anti-TaeTiSeo, but I am starting to get annoyed দ্বারা how overexposed they are. I mean, it seems like Seohyun is just the third wheel, since most people who say that they're annoyed দ্বারা them are because of TaeNy, and I understand them completely. That was one of my first link
But, it's not just the members and exposure that made me become a neutral fan: It's also the fans. I got to admit that their সঙ্গীত is good, and I can't really imagine anyone else being in it. I mean, the Twinkle album was really elaborate and just like a masterpiece from what SM had put out. While I agree with this to some extent, I doubt that it might happen, and that it'll bring SM আরো money.
I wish people would at least not hate their mere existence as a subunit, and be thankful that আপনি at least got a part of SNSD during a time when they weren't promoting. Be as optimistic as this person:

But, here's a little note for SM:
Dear SM, please make wiser and better marketing and promotional strategies. Just because these three members were successful for your money, doesn't mean that we won't get tired of them if আপনি keep exploiting them to our faces.
