Seohyun to take Eugene\'s place in S.E.S. on \'Infinity Challenge\'s year-end special

Although it was reported that Eugene won\'t be joining the S.E.S reunion on \'Infinity Challenge\'s year-end special due to her pregnancy, Seohyun will be taking care of the situation by coming out in place of Eugene on the show!

SM Entertainment told Xports News on December 12, "In place of the currently pregnant Eugene, Seohyun plans to perform on \'Infinity Challenge\' as an S.E.S member."

(facepalm) people, just because you were teenagers when you liked this group doesn\'t mean that you should suddenly start acting like you\'re thinking with hormones instead of brain cells again. I\'m starting to think that KNetz never grow out of their insanity. (smh) 

Eugene is pregnant. There is NO reason she should have to perform just for your selfish and demanding feels. Bada and Shoo have no reason NOT to perform as this is for a show and none of them are even with the same agency any more. 

Just get over yourselves and enjoy the show. If you can\'t do that, don\'t watch. No one\'s going to point a gun to your head and MAKE you watch something you don\'t want to. 

This is stupid and pointless now, it defeats the whole point of a REUNION!!

They shouldn\'t perform at all... this was supposed to be a REUNION of all the 90s/early 2000s groups. Why is IC bending the rules for this one group.... this is upsetting.

Cause it\'s SM behind it..they don\'t care. They have no respect for their artists and even LESS for the fans who want a REAL reunion. I would have gladly waited even 5 years from now if all 3 could get together. But this is a joke.

If you watch "Infinity Challenge", you would know that this is probably the event that Myung Soo and Jun Ha suggested. This event is specially for the 1990s idols/groups where they compete with each others. However, they did mention that they might not get everyone in certain groups to attend and will try to find someone else to sing along. In this case, Eugene is pregnant so she can\'t make it and Bada probably invited SeoHyun to join this event due to their friendship.

It\'s not like Seohyun is replacing Eugene or whatever. SES probably invited Seohyun to perform with them since Bada is very close to her. It\'s not even an official reunion. Calm yo tits guys.

I see some people here constantly harping about this being a \'reunion\'and they should not have Seohyun as a replacement.

You should read the article carefully. This is the Infinity challenge year end special. You see the words \'Year-end\' ??

It means the episode is happening at the end of the year, which is now. So, its not an actual reunion of the group. The members of SES never organised it , its not an official reunion. Its the TV shows producers trying to hype it up.

So they can\'t \'Do it next year\' , its not they don\'t want to wait, its a TV show doing it. You should be thankful Infinity Challenge is even doing this. If not, you might not even be able to see Bada and Shoo together at all. Its unfortunate that Eugene can\'t appear, you can hope they 3 of them do an official reunion after she has given birth.

But don\'t complain about this when its not even an official reunion. Its just a TV show that happens to want to invite all 3 members to perform, and when they can\'t they manage to get 2 at least. You should be happy, not complaining.

Now I actually want MBC to cancel this so that the whining fans can shut up and regret their whining, becos now they can\'t even  see 2 members together at all. I don\'t want our Seobaby to get bashed when its not even her fault. Go blame MBC if you want. 

It is a big deal because SES hasn\'t performed in years. Even if it is not an official reunion, the fact they are performing with someone else under the name of SES is wrong! They should do it next year..wont they have some end of year thing then? Just invite another group for this one. I\'d rather see NO SES than a half-assed SES.

@noonanoah Then just think of it as 2 members of SES performing with a friend. You are simply falling for the hype that MBC and SM is creating. Like you said, they haven\'t performed in years, so why not see this as a rare opportunity for 2 members to get together. It would have been great and you should be happy, but you choose to see it in a negative light becos of hype and some stupid executive deciding to call it a reunion when its not. I feel sorry for you. I won\'t blame you, I blame SM and MBC for hyping something that is not true. But its sad that a rare chance for 2 members of a legendary girl group getting together is causing upset instead of hype. Its all in your mind, see from a different perspective and you will be happier. Don\'t be so hung up on a title of a performance. SM and MBC is just calling it a reunion just for the hype. If they called it a Bada and Shoo special stage featuring SNSD\'s Seohyun, will you feel better? You know its just a word \'reunion\' right?

@noonanoah In a way, you are being fooled by the words, its a bad translation. Seohyun is not going to \'replace\' or \'become\' a member of SES. She is a stand-in or temporary guest becos one member is unable to attend. Don\'t be so affected by words, nobody in korea or anywhere else is going to think she is \'replacing\' a member. You seem so upset just becos of this. Its just for a TV show. Relax and be happy, you are going to see 2 members perform together on stage in a very, very long time, shouldn\'t a fan be super excited?

We\'ll see if in 10 years DBSK has a "performance" as 5 and they replace Changmin with a new idol. We\'ll see how happy you are then. @noonanoah Its your choice. I suspect that after this, there might never be a chance that 2 of them will get together, much less all 3 of them. I will treat it as a last chance to see at least 2 of them together, otherwise, this might never ever happen. If not for Infinity Challenge, I might never even see 2 of them together. I will just cherish this opportunity. Seohyun\'s presence is just a bonus.

Its not really an official reunion organised by the group themselves. Its infinity challenge year end special. They wanted to invite all the members of the group, but since one person is pregnant, they show producers invited a replacement. So to sum it up its not a reunion of the group. Its a TV show wanting to have all the members appear at the same time, so they called it a \'reunion\'. So there is no need for you ro be upset anymore.

@IMakeMyPoint I know that, I\'m not blind I read the the article I\'m just upset that they are putting GG in this when it was suppose to be about S.E.S, just like other people can be upset for other things I can to because this is suppose to be there time but it\'s not it\'s there\'s and seohyun aka GG, I just want to express how I feel about it

She doesn\'t need to perform right now and if Bada and Shoo felt as you did then they wouldn\'t be performing this. BTW Bada is with The Pro Actors and Shoo is with Run Entertainment. The ONLY say that SM has in this is that they represent Seohyun and they still own the name S.E.S. ... You\'re running out of excuses for your temper tantrum.

@BigBlueagain If she is performing AS S.E.S that\'s still SM. Doesn\'t matter who she or anyone else is under independently. If you understand that, how can you be so stupid about it? If she says ANYTHING as an SES member, SM has control of it. She can\'t express herself as she wants. Even former SM Idols can\'t express themselves how they want to this day.

I think Seohyun is chosen because she is also doing a Musical with SES\'s Bada. and Bada may have invited her to join in the get together.

Someone being absent because they are pregnant is a little different than someone being permanently absent because they\'re dead. Get real. Eugene is being replaced when all they really should do is postpone til next year..she\'s not dead!

When you\'re an adult and see not only a company, but upstart little twerps disrespecting the artists you love now..then you can come talk to me how you would react.
