I recently got the chance to catch up with actress Tammy Dahlstrom to chat about her upcoming role on “Grey’s Anatomy.” Tammy has been অভিনয় since the age of 3 when she first appeared in a Kellogg’s ভূট্টা Flakes commercial and was on the cereal box. Today, she’s building a solid career lending her support to some of televisions biggest names, including our beloved Patrick Dempsey.

Holly: Tell us a little about your role in the episode titled "I Only আপনি Were Lonely."

TAMMY: Well, I can’t give away too much, but I can say that I play an Orderly that catches the brunt of McDreamy's temper when he misconstrues a look I give him.

Holly: Who exactly did আপনি get to work with…and what was that like?

TAMMY: I worked with Patrick Dempsey and Chandra Wilson…and they’re both really lovely to act with. At this point the প্রদর্শনী is like a well-oiled machine and everyone knows each other really well, which can be intimidating walking onto set as a guest actor. But, that certainly wasn’t the case with “Grey’s”…everyone was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable.

Holly: Was there anything that surprised আপনি while আপনি were on set?

TAMMY: The biggest surprise was the set. It’s crazy to see what looks like a fully functioning hospital on TV broken down into a bunch of little individual sets, complete with false walls, no ceiling, and wooden ফ্ল্যাটের all crammed onto a sound stage. It really does exemplify all the ‘smoke and mirrors’ magic that Hollywood creates.

Holly: Aside from your episode, do আপনি have a পছন্দ episode of “Grey’s Anatomy”?

TAMMY: Absolutely…I’m a huge অনুরাগী and I haven’t missed an episode! I’m not sure if I could pinpoint only one episode, but I can certainly say I got very swept away with the storyline about Izzie and Denny. Also, I never saw it coming that George was the ‘John Doe’ guy hit দ্বারা the bus…that was a sad episode. And, of course, I প্রণয় the roller coaster of a ride we’ve watching between Derek and Meredith over the years.

Holly: Is there anything else we can catch আপনি on in the future?

TAMMY: Yes, actually I just finished working on an episode of the new NBC series “Awake,” which is set to premiere in March. I worked with Jason Isaacs, who has the most piercing blue eyes, which made me think of his Lucius Malfoy character from the ‘Harry Potter’ films…minus the long blonde hair!
