The only reason anyone wants them together is they find Alex hot, it does not matter to them that George and Izzie have so much more chemistry and actual true love not just sex. It is too bad that we keep getting those sex-based no chemistry couple just because both actors happen to look good. Little news: two hot people do not make a hot couple. George might not be as conventionally hot as Alex (though I find him a much better kisser), he and Izzie have a much deeper connection and chemistry than lexzie will ever have. But Lexzie will probably happen and all the teenagers in heat will be happy. The mature fans will find another show.

Yep unfortunately a lot of fans of this show are close-minded and their mind can only tolerate the cliched couples. Gizzie was too much for them, too intense, too passionate, too real.

i love Alex and izzie..this is because alex really loves her, even if he doesn't let on. She brings out great things in him and they are perfect together. they are not both sweet and innocent adn boring (gizzie) but unpredictable and truly the best couple on the show

What typically happens. Hmm, no, Katie is in real life with a guy you would not call conventionnally hot. She had a huge crush On TR and tried to date him before finding out he was gay. Guys like David Spade and Zach Braff who are far from conventionnally hot dates the likes of Heather Locklear and so on, and many of my friends who are gorgeous ended up marrying or dating guys that were far from hot. In fact, when asked why they would date a guy, personality came first in a poll followed by great sense of humor and great smile, all three things George has in spades. Looks came very far behind, except if maybe people were ashamed to admit how shallow they were, I would be. Oh and TR<s boyfriend in real life is drop-dead gorgeous.

So no a lot of beautiful girls date guys that are not conventionnally hot.

And Izzie brings out good things in Alex? Was that when he smiled nastuily when Denny was screaming in pain or when he told Denny happiily he would croak.

Because to me, she brings out the very worst in him and him in her.

George and Izzie are real, fun, hot, sexy and wonderful. Alex and Izzie make me sick.

Alex could never love Izzie as much as George loves her, as Shonda said, George loves everything about Gizzie, even her flaws. Alex gets annoyed at her flaws. George has always been there for Izzie and vice-versa, and Alex and Izzie have as much chemistry as a wet noddle.

And eys, I think Alex and Izzie are terrible, I keep hearing Lexzie fans saying Izzie needs to be with Alex because he is so much hotter than George, so like it or not, not all Lexzie fans are shallow, but some are

I really don't like Alex and Izzie together, never did. And yeah - I feel like people want them together because they're hot above anything else. They've had some sweet moments, but the bad outweighs the good in my opinion. I tend to like Alex a lot more when he's in scenes that don't involve Izzie.
