If আপনি had a Choice would আপনি Change the story at all?

It's not so much that I would change the story, because I think what JK did is truely epic, and I can't do better than what she did. I প্রণয় the story the way it is.

However...because I'm selfish, there are three individual changes I would make.

Hedwig's death I would rewrite so that it was the same in the book as it was in the film, because her film death was a আরো heroic one; she died defending Harry, rather than helpless in her cage. I wouldn't 'save' her, as terrible as that is to say, because her death (like so many others) was symbolic; it symbolized the end of Harry's childhood.

I would add a little bit of background on the relationship between Severus and Charity Burbage. They were friends, but we have no details (so we just have to wonder.) Her death could have had just a little আরো meaning.

I would, without hesitation অথবা regret, switch ফ্রেড with Percy.

Harry would marry Luna, and Neville would marry Ginny.

There are several things I would change about the book series.

I would undo all the editing done to try to make the বই short. I don't mind পাঠ করা 800 page books, and for a good series like HP, I could go for a 1200+ page book as long as the quality holds. Book 7 in particular was too short... The plot was almost falling apart at the seams to support brevity. I'd have to see what the new বই read but there are a couple আরো changes I'd make regardless.

Another change I would make, although it may not be popular, is to have Harry and Voldemort both die when Harry finally faces him head on. I think that considering the circumstances in the story, it's only appropriate. The 'work around' to allow Harry to survive is at best, troublesome from a logical perspective.

There are some other things I'd like to see in book 6 and 7 especially, a strong redemption Draco side plot, changing some pairings, avoid the death of some characters I like, but those are the two main changes that I think would improve the story.

Only one thing: have Bellatrix killed দ্বারা Minerva McGonagall অথবা Flitwick because that would be just fair. Bellatrix entertained us a lot through the last four বই and she shouldn't die দ্বারা the hands of unworthy Mrs.Weasly...she deserves a duel with an equally skilled person that would not make her death so embarrassing!!

I like most of what is written.But here is what I will change:

1.Hedwig should ave died like in the movie
2.Percy inplace of Fred
3.Tonks should have killed Bellatrix (avenging Sirius)
4.Harry and Hermione should get together (dont attack me for that one!)
5.Dobby shouldnt have died.

There are many things I would have liked to change directly after পাঠ করা the seventh book, such as টঙ্কস্‌ and Lupin's deaths as well as Moody's, but then I realised that changing that would have made everything less real. There would have been no sense of loss and the fact that they won in the end wouldn't have been nearly as sweet.

The one thing I'd really like to change is who Neville and Luna ended up marrying (Sorry Hannah D:) I'm a huge Luneville অনুরাগী and really wish they'd of ended up together ^^; Seriously, I wouldn't have minded if Ginny and Harry didn't get together. Harry could have ended up alone and I'd of been pleased if Luna and Neville had gotten married.

Severus would not have died. No way !

Percy would have met the Pearly Gates instead of Fred.

Moody would not have died either. I would have gladly sacrified Mundungus Fletcher instead.

But that's just me. Fortunately, we still have fanfic লেখা to keep these people alive if we want to.

Not at all, but I would change some details.

Bellatrix would not be dead,but instead molly would be killed দ্বারা her,also Voldemort would be the one to survive at the end!!Death Eaters would have take over the world and that's all!!!If i didn't change the end of the battle,i would sure change the epilogue,Harry and Draco would end up together!!!!Ginny would have died!!!!Slash FTW!!!

I think I would. For starters I would have switched ফ্রেড with another Weasley (probably Ron অথবা Bill).

I would have changed the way Mad-Eye died (or just not killed him at all). I don't think it did justice for the man at all. I also would have made Hedwig's death আরো similar to how it was in the movies.

I would not have killed Severus. I honestly think there would be আরো redemption in his characterization দ্বারা giving him another chance than having Harry name his kid after him.

I would not have killed Lupin and Tonks. I think killing both of them off is just way to similar to Harry's story.

Hmm, the story was amazing as it was, but there are a couple of things I would've changed:
-Ginny would've moved on after Harry broke up with her and they both would've ended up with someone else
-Dramione অথবা Harmony would've happened <3
-Fred, টঙ্কস্‌ and Remus DEFINITELY wouldn't have died
And Ron probably would've been nicer to hermione during the first couple of books...
But that's just me :)

I would not change anything. I think the story is perfect. It's very informative and has a great story line. I would change the ending though. They end it দ্বারা killing everyone and I would just leave the people alive and only kill Voldemort. অথবা to give it a twist ending kill Harry. When they kill everyone it's really sad and I think they should keep them alive. Also I think they should have done আরো of a fast forward. They did a small one and told who they married but I think they should make a story out of it.

Yes. I'd make Luneville canon.

ফ্রেড and Dobby mainly. Anything else would have ruined the series! actually, i feel like Dobby had to die, even though im his biggest অনুরাগী EVER. the only thing i really wish hadn't happened was ফ্রেড dying. it seemed kinda unnecessary. But if he had to die, at least give him a noble death, like diving in the line of আগুন to save a friend অথবা family member. অথবা dueling a powerful Death Eater অথবা something. Not in an anonymous, totally যেভাবে খুশী explosion, where we dont even know who really killed him. I mean, i also agree with আপনি BlackHound, that i just cant imagine George without Fred. they were the inseperable duo, the mischevous mayhem makers, the Sirius/James of the new generation! i try to imagine one walking down the hallway without the other, and fail at it. I try to see George executing schemes and pranks, exploring secret tunnels, and inventing new merchandise for Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, দ্বারা himself অথবা with someone else, and fail at it. I বৃক্ষ to imagine him existing without Fred, and fail at it. It really shocked and hurt me when he died. But moving on, i agree with the উত্তর above me that i would have had Hedwig die the way she did in the movie, instead of the book. What really made me read, and then re-read, and then cry at that scene was because she was so helpless in defending herself. Because she was hit দ্বারা a stray spell. I think that was the point though. everyone else, even Sirius, (R.I.P) i felt like their deaths actually contributed to the plotline and made an impact on the series and the characters, instead of just giving readers a sob scene, a little bit of action and suspense, and something to talk about, আপনি know?

I would've made the Battle আরো 'epic' in scope.

Well no matter how much I want to prevent the deaths of characters, it would probably ruin the story.But I would change how they die:
Instead of dying দ্বারা a যেভাবে খুশী explosion, I would have him die protecting George from a deatheater, don't care which one,and then before the whole battle ends, have George kill the deatheater who killed Fred.At least it gives Fred's death আরো honor.
Hedwig would have died how she does in the movie, protecting Harry. And টঙ্কস্‌ wouldn't have died along with Lupin. I mean, why did Rowling have to make Teddy an orphan?

Oh, and Luna would've ended up with Neville, and maybe Ginny wouldn't have been so obsessed with Harry in the beginning and she could have been a closer friend. I mean seriously, how many times do আপনি see them together in a group of friends, actually talking, not counting the DA.If that would've happened then I TOTALLY wouldnt have minded them marrying.
Oh and Ron would've been a little nicer to Hermione, not দ্বারা alot cause I প্রণয় to see them bicker, but she deserves a little আরো kindness.

The story is great now, but I would make a few minor changes.

Harry and Luna should of got together.

George should of had a girlfriend. I mean come on, him and ফ্রেড were the most জনপ্রিয় guys in the school. He should of got a girlfriend.

At least SOME Slytherins should of stayed to fight. It was kinda mean that they all left.

Ginny should of married Neville.

I should of married Draco (OK that one is a joke)

I would add several caracters and put আরো detail with caracters hardly ever mentioned in the series such as Charity Burbage. I would also save some caracters from their deaths in book 7 and switch it with some other people such as Percy because a major battle had to happen for him to realize that he was অভিনয় like a git.
Other than that, I think it was a great series and any major change would've killed it. The series was just so EPIC!
