I guess Dobby was the one who died because out of everyone who escaped, he was the one JK did not need anymore to drive the plot of the story. People need to die in order to have a war based realistically. It was to প্রদর্শনী that death was a part of life. J.K made Dobby's death honorable, so it wasn't just a heartless act.

As a Bellatrix অনুরাগী I don't think she's dissing her (if she was you'd know, I'm kind of known for going off on people for insulting Bellatrix :P) she was calling her an evil witch, which she is. She is a witch, and she is on the bad side.
