Well At least we have another to wait for.

I don't think it will ruin the movie at all. In fact, I believe just the opposite: Two films will do the story justice. It is the final book, the most important book in the Harry Potter series. Without making this two split movies, too much would have needed to be cut out. I wouldn't be able to stand it if such a thing were to happen. I will wait out the months in between the two movies without complaint so that I will get to see both parts of my favorite books lived out on the big screen.
