Bellatrix dies in this one :'O

If it comes to love, yeah, the first generation was sadder.
But when it we're talking about it in general, many people died in the second generation, not mentioning other horrible things. James and Lily did not experience what Harry did when it comes to this kind of things.

No, it's not about love, here are some examples of why I think this:
#1: the war lasted like 10 years, a lot more people died.
#2: Some people may say the marauders were idiots or whatever but no one can deny that their friendship was great once, but then one of his friends turns out to be a traitor and for me there's nothing that hurts as much as this, it's even worse than dead. Then, James&Lily die and James best friend in the world is blamed and has to spend more than 10 years in Askaban at the year of 21? and Remus ends up with no friends.
#3 Frank&Alice are tortured at a very young age.
#4 Even if I'm more of a James&Lily shipper, Snape's pain when Lily died was just horrible
#5 There was no Harry, no hope.

I'm with angii7 all the way on this one. Especially reason 5. The Maurader's Era was sadder than the Second War.

@Angi, Here's how I think of it:

#1 I agree with you on this one.
#2 I agree on a part of this one. The Maraduers were never idiots in my opinion, and about the traitor and death, well Harry lost both his parents and his godfather. Him and everyone else lost Dumbledore, Lupin, Fred, Cedric and others that fought in the Hogwarts battle and died.
#3 Hermione was tortured by Bellatrix at a young age too.
#4 That's what I meant when I said "love". When it comes to Snape and Lily, yeah, it's much sadder then what happened to any of them.

#2 Like I said I think being betrayed is worse than death, it hurts a lot more, but maybe it's just me. And about the deaths a lot more people died like I said in #1

I don't see much difference between the two.
