if you're on this spot you should assume that there will be spoilers. it's been almost a year since the release of book 7 and it seems to me that it is no longer considered spoiler worthy. If you're on this spot and haven't finished book 7 yet, then it's read at your own risk. sheesh stop complaining about book 7 stuff not being labelled as spoilers. if we had to treat this spot as everyone who came has never read a harry potter book, then EVERYTHING would be labelled as spoilers. So read at your own risk. I applaud you msdeanw for excluding fred from this question since he is an obvious choice. =)

I really felt bad when Snape died even before 'A Prince's Tale'
and felt even worse afterwards.. =[

A lot of people only watch the films, and also, the 7th book hasn't even come out in a lot of countries yet. I still think it would be a good idea to call this one a spoiler - it does concern almost all the most important events in the last book.

None. The closest I got to cry for anyone, was Fred, and my eyes only got a little moist.

the only one that did make me cry. fred's was awful but it was more of this horrible jolting shock then tearful.

I read from the beginning of Harry entering the forest to when he wakes up in King's Cross. One whole chapter pretty much of reading through tears. I do not think anything beats that... Even Fred.

I cried a little at this, it was my second least favourite death. Fred's on the other hand, destroyed me.
