This is a horror short story collection all based around the premise of presidents and/or the White House.
There's ghosts, a zombie, a werewolf, a botched assassination attempt, re-animated dead যশস্বী serviced দ্বারা prostitutes amongst others. The horror here is disgustingly brilliant, twisted to the extreme but always with an underlying wit and intelligence that makes every story fresh and wholly satisfying to read. Although the collection has no overt political agenda, a lot of the (fictional) presidents described are ego-maniacal idiots who are about as pleasant and trustworthy as a serial killer.
If আপনি are new to Edward Lee's work আপনি could start here as, in my view, this book gives a good account of the way Mr Lee writes as he pushes the boundaries of both horror fiction and the comfort level of the reader with it's shed load of bodily secretions flying around and a heap of sex, it's written to make আপনি shudder and cringe as any good horror should do.
