After a few মিনিট at Kutner's apartment, Taub was shocked.

"You tried to to WHAT!?"

Kutner looked down in shame "I know!! I- I don't know what I was thinking."

Taub used his forefinger to lift Kutner's chin so they could see each other face to face. "Look. I'm not angry. I'm worried as hell, sure, but not mad. Sorry if this is too personal, but what stopped you?"

"Well, when the gun was at my temple, my life literraly flashed before my eyes. I always thought that happened in চলচ্চিত্র only, but it does in real life, too." Kutner went on, "And I realized that if I pulled that trigger, my last thought would be regretting it. My Life doesnt suck THAT bad!"

They both giggled awkwardly. Taub had one প্রশ্ন swirling through his brain from the সেকেন্ড Kutner told him. He decided to ask it flat out. "Why'd আপনি do it?"

Kutner sighed. "If আপনি really must know, it seemed like everyone was being mean today, exept you."

Taub's mouth dropped open. He never knew his friend was so- so sensitive to insults. Even if they were jokes. "Kutner. They... they were joking around. I think."

"You think." ব্যক্ত Kutner. "But আপনি don't know. House can say these terrible things. He hasn't apologized once. Do আপনি have any idea how horrible that is? To LIVE with that? Every day?"

"Well," Taub hadn't ever seen Kutner so sad, angry, so... vulnerable. He made a mental note to be nicer. "If this is such a problem, আপনি need to talk to him. You're also gonna need therapy."

"No!" Kutner protested.

"You almost killed yourself because আপনি had a bad day!"

"But i didn't shoot myself, did I?"

"You could have clinical depression!"

"I'm a doctor! I could diagnose myself!"

"A doctor, not a therapist."

This stumped Kutner. Taub was right. "Fine. I'll talk to house and MAYBE sign up for therapy."

Taub wasn't satisfied. "I'm not suggesting therapy because its fun to annoy you. I'm demanding therapy because you're my firend and I care about you. I don't want আপনি to get hurt."

Kutner was touched. "I- Okay. I'll do it."
