The piece sparked outrage in the celebrity gossip press and led to Aniston tearfully telling an interviewer that her soon-to-be ex husband was missing “a sensitivity chip.” The Pitt/Jolie shoot was to promote the 2005 film Mr & Mrs Smith (it was on the set of that film that the pair fell in প্রণয় and Pitt left his wife, Aniston).
