Oh winter time! This is the only time of the বছর where আপনি just get to be happy, make other people happy, and have a good time. Sora, Riku, and Roy, though, weren't having such a good time. আপনি see, King Mickey sent them out on a mission দ্বারা themselves because Donald and Goofy were on some other mission. The young trio had to travel to the World That Never Was and investigate the sudden Heartless spike there. What they found was astonishing. All of the Nobodies being dead (except for Roxas who fused himself with Sora), the Heartless simply moved into the castle. Not only that, but apparently, the Heartless have chosen a select few known as the "Occult" to lead them and act as their superiors. The শীর্ষ two Organization XIII thrones were raised and formed into shrines for each of their two gods: Saroth (Sora's ACTUAL Heartless, not the wimpy-ass Shadow) and Ansem (Xehanort's heartless). The remaining eleven seats were painted differently in accordance with whoever sat there, and the ENTIRE দুর্গ was now black and red, and the Nobody symbols were transformed into Heartless emblems. Sora, Riku, and Roy were caught দ্বারা the Occult, and they decided that the fastest and most agile of them all, Leenaroth (Larxene's Heartless) to go after them, and they chose Raialumoth (Marluxia's Heartless) and Gibraoth (Xigbar's Heartless) to ambush them at their gummi ship. "Run, run as fast as আপনি can! আপনি can't escape me I'm the Lightning Assassin! HEHAHEHAHAHAAAA!!!!" Their hopes were diminishing fast, because Leenaroth was catching up to them. Finally, they arrived at their gummi ship only to be met দ্বারা Raialumoth and Gibraoth.

"Oh crap, আপনি guys, I don't think we can get out of this!" Roy ব্যক্ত in a panic.

"Oh Roy, you're such a noob! C'mon guys, let's take these suckers down!" Riku declared as he plunged Way to the Dawn into Leenaroth's heart. It didn't work, of course, because she was gone like a flash before he could blink. She materialized behind him, and threw a lightning shard at his back.

"RIKU!!" Sora yelled as he ঘুঘু to block the death-blow. He landed with a thud, and luckily blocked the blade. "Riku, go get the scythe-guy! I can handle this, and I think Roy is already going after the one with the guantlet! GO!!!!" Riku left to go get Raialumoth, but Sora was still stuck with Leenaroth.

Her blades were quite unique; she held the handles like a sword, one hand on each, but the blades themselves were on the bottom of the hilt. Each blade on it was a blinding yellow lightning bolt, and the one that stuck out অগ্রবর্তী was about twice as long as the others. They jutted out from the bottom of the handle, so together they can be used as a shield of some sort. She jabbed and jabbed the front bolts, but Sora kept dodging them. She beautifully a repetitive-jumping-while-doing-a-pirouette-type attack, but Sora blocked her every time. She then seemed to transform into an actual lightning bolt, and sped toward horizontally. Luckily, one of Raialumoth's quad-scythes deflected Leenaroth before Sora even had time to react. She looked up, and yelled, "Raia, I'm going to jab my Lightning Defender up your mother f-"

"Not unless I jab my Keyblade up yours!" Sora declared as he slammed his Keyblade so hard into her gorgeous face that it literally shattered into a billion pieces (but oddly, there wasn't a drop of blood).

"What? Damn, I should have seen that one coming. Oh well. Farewell, human." And with that, she disintegrated. Sora had a bad feeling about what she said, but he dismissed it and rushed over to help Roy. He arrived just in time to block one of Gibraoth's daggers, land on the end of his Keylbade, and then use his momentum to carry him into his attack.

Which Gibraoth dodged, sending Sora tumbling. Gibraoth, reappeared right পরবর্তি to Roy, which scared the Hell out of him. "Hahahaha. আপনি humans. So weak. So PATHETIC!" Gibraoth ব্যক্ত in his curiously strong Scottish accent as things started to happen a lot slower. Sora looked up just in time to see Gibraoth point his gauntlet at Roy's head, and Roy began to pull up one of his swords, but it was too late. Gibraoth's dagger did indeed hit Roy's blade, but it deflected downwards into his side.

"ROY!" Sora yelled in panic as he dived down to catch him. "Riku! Start up the Gummi Ship!"

"But-"

"NOW!" Sora interrupted. He carried Roy into the ship when his vision started to blur.

"Sora…I can see so many things. So many, many things." Roy began in a dazed voice.

"It's ok Roy, you're going to be alri-"

"Sora, I can see a boy. He kinda looks like you, but his hair is আরো up, and it's black. His eyes are blue like yours, but he's looks a bit more…demonic..."

"Roy-"
"Sora no! The darkness! It's everywhere! It's going to consume me! Stop him! Please, Sora! Stop him!"

"Who, Roy? WHO?"

"Saroth…" and with that, Roy blacked out, and his head fell on its head.

"Riku, take us out of here. Take us to ডিজনি Castle." Sora turned to Roy to say, "Don't worry Roy, I will NEVER let the darkness. Not EVER."

Riku parked the Gummi Ship in mid-air পরবর্তি to the Kings' Balcony, and Sora (while carrying Roy) and jumped down. "Riku, go park the Gummi Ship in the hangar and meet us in the Cornerstone Room." Riku nodded and the gummi ship flew away towards the hangar entrance. Sora opened the magical door to the সিংহাসন room and ran towards the throne. "King Mickey! King Mickey please help us! Please!" And with that the platform the সিংহাসন was on moved to the side revealing a staircase below.

"Sora…where are we going…?" Roy was still out of it, but he could apparently still see.

"To someone who can help you."

"But I don't need help!" Roy suddenly whispered

"Crap, now he's getting delusional."

"I said…" Roy's face began flashing with dark tentacles. "I don't need help!" The command was so loud it knocked Sora over, and the door in front of them blasted open. Mickey was in the room in front of them, sensed something was wrong, and summoned his Keyblade. "Silly mouse, you're not the only one with a Keyblade!" Somehow, Roy summoned a Keyblade of his own, and a rather unique one at that. The hilt was virtually nothing but tentacle, but further down the blade, it got brighter and brighter, its double helix pattern going from sharp corners to curves. At the end, there was something almost like a sun rising from the horizon. "Behold! The blade of Saroth! From Darkness to Dawn!" Roy started to float in mid-air, and then glided to Mickey rather fast.

In fact, he rushed towards the king, Mickey didn't even see him. Thus, Roy landed just in front of the king, performed a perfect spin-jump, and used all of the momentum he had carried to slam his Keyblade into Mickey's head, sending him flying right into the cornerstone.

And then, he collapsed.

Sora rushed over to help Roy, who has now definitely out of it. He looked over to his right, and saw King Mickey actually trapped inside the cornerstone. There was now a প্রশ্ন gnawing on his brain: Try and help Mickey, অথবা possibly let Roy escape? He would have to choose what was most important to him: loyalty to his friend, অথবা his King?

He chose the latter.

"How do I get আপনি out of there?" Sora yelled, but Mickey was still out cold. "Well this is no good... Ooh! I know!" Sora summoned his Keyblade and struck the sphere as hard as he good…and went straight through. "Man…" Then, Sora had another idea when Riku finally walked in. "Riku quick! Take out your Keyblade!" Riku reluctantly obeyed, summoning Way to the Dawn. "Now hand it over! I need to free Mickey!"

"Why don't আপনি just use yours?"

"I tried that already, and it didn't work."

"Fine," Riku tossed Way to the Dawn to Sora, and he pointed it towards the cornerstone. A beam of light shot from the blade, and Mickey suddenly vanished from the orb and re-appeared পরবর্তি to Sora. Sora looked behind him, expecting to see Roy, but he found nothing.

"You guys…where's Roy?" It was Mickey's and Riku's turn to turn around and find nothing.

"I think I know." The king said. "If I'm right, there's only one place he could have gone."

"Destiny Islands?" Riku asked.

"No, sadly. The only place in the whole universe he could have had the known where to go to…is the World that Never Was."

"What? That doesn't make any sense! Unless…"Riku began.

"Unless what, Riku?"

"Sora, do আপনি remember when Roy got hit দ্বারা that guy's dagger? I don't think that was your average dagger that hit him. I think that dagger was some sort of possession device!"

"But that means if that you're here, and Roy isn't, then--" Sora was interrupted দ্বারা the engines of his own Gummi Ship flying away. "Great. Now how are we supposed to save Roy?

"Lord Gibraoth, I am on my way." Roy ব্যক্ত telepathically to his master.

"Very good, my pet. Remember, the Occult is waiting."

"Yes, my Lord."
Roy was zooming from ডিজনি দুর্গ as fast as the ship could carry him. Which, in fact, was not slow at all. Roy arrived at the Occult দুর্গ in under a few minutes, and then dashed to the Where Darkness Gathered. The moment he stepped foot in the middle of the বৃত্ত beneath the thirteen thrones, he was trapped, moved into the air, and stayed there. "Welcome, Roy, to your final hour." The man behind the voice was actually Isaoth, leader of the Occult, but his সিংহাসন was veiled in darkness, as well as the other thrones. "Unbeknownst to you, child, আপনি will be used as a kind of a 'host' body for our God Saroth, which আপনি may know of. After the ritual is complete, your consciousness will cease to exist, and all that আপনি are will become Saroth. And since we are all a reflection of Saroth, some of our being will be sucked into your body. " He paused. "Now, let the ritual begin!"
The veils of darkness lifted, revealing the ones hidden behind them. Each and every one of them was so demonic, that if Roy wasn't possessed, he would burst into flames. His subconscious, though, was well aware of the situation. It was about to die, so it decided to go to full power, and observed each and every Occult member very carefully.

One of them stood out though.

It had icy-blue spiky hair, and brown dashes under its eyes. His horns were on fire, but the flames were a cold blue, and now that Roy's subconscious looked closer, he say that its hair was actually dozens of flaming blue spikes, not hair.

Then it REALLY began.

The Occult members began floating up in the air, chanting some sort of spell in unison, and a figure suddenly appeared in one of the highest two thrones. It was the same boy that Roy saw in his vision earlier; demonic, spiky black hair, blue eyes, and quite demonic. "At last! I am প্রদত্ত a body to sustain myself in!" Saroth began to float up as well, and his very being was being shot towards Roy's হৃদয় in a single beam of darkness. The other Occult members spawned these black almost string-like objects from their hearts, connecting themselves to the beam of darkness coming from Saroth. In this বিভক্ত করা সেকেন্ড of final thought, Roy's subconscious finally saw the name of the one that it had eyed earlier: Aleoth.

When the dark god was gone, the beam vanished, as well as the strings coming from the Occult members. They fell to their thrones, but Roy still hung in the air, frozen.

At least until he destroyed the bonds that held him there.

So Roy, too, fell, but only for a few feet. He ascended to his original position, and addressed his followers

"So it begins."
