Author's note: Well I wrote this as a xmas fic for my best ফ্যানপপ buddy, criminalminds13 aka. Sophie. She loves the idea of Scarecrow/Batman and so I told her I’d write it for, despite not being interested in the pairing too much myself. Oh and I threw my OC that I had plans on using in Playing with fire, details of which are পোষ্ট হয়েছে on my fanfic.net profile, for good measure. Hope she likes this and মতামত are love!

He was pretty sure that this দিন couldn’t get any better. First Johnny had agreed (if a bit begrudgingly) to have let him have free reign of their body for the entire দিন and then Melina had been let out of solitary (which had Jonathan pissed that he couldn’t be the one to greet her) which lead to some very enjoyable times in an empty storeroom (while Jonathan fumed at the back of his mind). And now Scarecrow sat across from none other than Gotham’s masked hero himself, the ব্যাটম্যান who was asking him for help. Not that he could actually help at all with the Bat’s little problem. He had, after all been locked up in the hellhole they called Arkham Asylum for the past six months and আরো specifically locked up in Jonathan Crane’s mind it’s self. It should of been pretty obvious that he wouldn’t know a thing. This place was high security for a reason. But ব্যাটম্যান had obviously come to the end of his tether and was now grasping hopelessly at straws that Scarecrow was sure that the man under the mask realized were a wasted attempt. Scarecrow had tried to explain all this rationally to him but ব্যাটম্যান had once again let his temper get the better of him, resulting in Scarecrow’s own temper beginning to rise, if a lot slower than the Bat’s.
“I hear আপনি got yourself a little squeeze in here. Blazedale ring any bells?” ব্যাটম্যান growled in that obviously put on voice of his and Scarecrow had to smirk at that because honestly, did ব্যাটম্যান really think he could blackmail him? He was the master of fear it’s self. In fact did he honestly think he cared about Melina? At this Johnny protested but he blocked him out, not wanting to be distracted দ্বারা his counter parts whining. Suddenly an idea clicked in to place in his mind, a one that even got Jonathan to shut up and consider.
“So what? Ya gonna resort to to blackmail? Now if I didn’t know any better I’d say আপনি were a little jealous.” He whispered the last part, the smirk still firmly set on his face. It made sense now. ব্যাটম্যান was... lonely. So desperate for a little attention that he’d bug Scarecrow about something he obviously knew nothing about.
“Don’t be ridiculous.” He barked and turned his back on him, his cape swishing dramatically. Scarecrow rolled his eyes. Honestly, who wears a cape now days? ব্যাটম্যান began to pace then as Scarecrow continued his theory.
“I mean, sweet little Rachel Dawes is dead, Joker’s not paying আপনি as much attention now he got Harley, the citizens of Gotham are still wary of you... Is the masked crusader feeling a little unloved?” He finished with a mock pout, leaning অগ্রবর্তী across the metal টেবিল a little.
“I’m serious Crane. I can make it so আপনি never see Blazedale again.” ব্যাটম্যান threatened darkly as he too leaned across the table, his eyes narrowed from behind his masks.
“Look the Hellfire bargaining chip ain’t gonna work on me. In case আপনি ain’t noticed, কপিকল isn’t ‘ere right now. Really I thought the accent woulda প্রদত্ত me away. Anyway he’s the one that gives a rats গাধা about her. I’m gonna be honest with you, Hellfire- well she’s only good for one thing. So I’d just give up if I were you, অথবা at least find something worth blackmailing me over.” Scarecrow sighed heavily, now bored with the entire thing. He would of thought that this little run in would of gone আরো interesting.
“Damn it! Who’s setting the bombs!?” The Bat exploded, banging his gloved hands on the table. Scarecrows patience ran out.
“I DON’T KNOW!” He shouted, getting to his feet to tower over ব্যাটম্যান if only slightly. The pair stared at each other intensely for a moment before Scarecrow regained his composure and sat back down again. “Besides even if I did, I wouldn’t be telling you. There actually is some honor amongst criminals ya know. Well except with the mob.” He ব্যক্ত smoothly, idly glancing around the room, aware that Johnny was using all his strength to keep their temper in check.
“Do I have to beat it out of you?” ব্যাটম্যান growled out and Scarecrow only had time to raise an eyebrow before he felt himself being pushed to the back of Crane’s mind as Johnny broke his promise and took over.
“Typical anger management problems specific to only one of the personalities. And-if I’m not mistaken-a side of ADHD to শীর্ষ it all off. I’d say your problems started at childhood, triggered দ্বারা a tragic event of some sort... Oh how I’d প্রণয় to get আপনি on my couch.” Jonathan purred as Scarecrow protested wildly, fighting to get control again. ব্যাটম্যান was looking a little confused now as Johnny just stared at him. You promised! Scarecrow shouted from the back of his mind. Jonathan mentally rolled his eyes before relinquishing control. “Sorry about that. Sometimes Johnny Boy can be a little hard to handle. It goes both ways ya know.” He shook his head and leaned back in to his chair casually, determined to be able to keep control for the rest of the day.
“You’re impossible!” ব্যাটম্যান groaned, turning his back to him for a moment.
“Why thank you.” Scarecrow grinned, something that didn’t quite reach his eyes as he surveyed Batman’s broad back. The Bat surprised him then দ্বারা whirling around and making his way over to his side of the room, standing over him. “Yes?” He asked when the Bat didn’t say anything but continued to just stare down at him. He continued not to speak, but look at him in a way that Scarecrow could recognize all too well. It was the look Melina gave কপিকল and even himself on occasions and the fact the Bat was giving it to him now was just downright confusing. He felt his jaw go slack as for the first time in a long time, he felt surprised. A feeling that he knew Jonathan felt too if his stunned silence was anything to go by. Then before he could quite comprehend what was happening, Batman’s lips had crashed down upon his own. They were gone within a সেকেন্ড however so that Scarecrow and কপিকল were left wondering if it actually even happened. ব্যাটম্যান looked panicked for a moment as Scarecrow stared up at him with wide eyes. Then he was gone, having stormed out of the room.
“What was that?” He asked the empty room, as he stared at the door that had just slammed behind the masked crusader. Hell if I know. Came Crane’s reply from inside his head. Well things were sure to take an interesting turn from now on.
