Partly because it's the right thing to do too (as in, I don't see why I shouldn't be supporting gay rights), but went with this option because I do have a fair amount of people in my life who are gay and I don't want them to be discriminated against.

@glelsey It's always the right decision to be supportive of gays. I can't stand homophobic people. They make me sick.

All of the above, really. I'm bi and gender-fluid, and my uncle's been with his boyfriend for longer than I've been alive. But even if that wasn't true, I would still support gay rights because why shouldn't I? They're people all the same, no matter who they may be in love with or how they might identify or anything.
