I'm not sure if anyone will think this to be worthy of being a Soapbox Article, but it is something that I wanted to share.
It's a short poem that I wrote a long time ago, which has words that I was only guessing about at the time.
I've discovered them to be very true for maintaining a good relationship, but it needs to be followed দ্বারা both people.
Anyways, one দিন we were প্রদত্ত the task of লেখা a four line poem in one of my English classes in high school. It had to be something meaningful, but we could pick the subject.
It doesn't have a title, but here it is:
Design with thy heart
And learn to share
For প্রণয় is an art
Which needs much care
It's important for both people to pay attention to the needs of the other, and to make sure that both of আপনি share. Whether it be talking, hugging, dealing with problems, etc., আপনি should both be there for each other.
If আপনি don't like something, talk about it. It's better to have compromises, then to have either of আপনি try to change each other into someone আপনি are not.
If আপনি try to force a change, আপনি might not be happy with it, and the person আপনি tried to change might look elsewhere because of it.
Try to take things one দিন at a time, and don't forget about compassion. Try to put yourself in your partner's shoes when আপনি talk to each other. Listen to what they are saying, and if আপনি don't completely understand something, ask... just don't phrase it in a way that may sound judgemental, অথবা আপনি may get shut out. Let them know that আপনি care and want to understand.
প্রণয় can be a two-way street, and আপনি should be trying to travel in the same vehicle... not in ones headed toward each other in a collision.

Once upon a time, I was falling in love. We were a happy couple, blind to the troubles of the world around us. He was perfectly shaped for me, and I for him. He was the sun for my darkest night. I only felt complete when I was with him. The times we had together were the some of the best memories I ever had. We laughed, we hugged, we kissed. We spent hours in his room অথবা mine, playing our secret lover games. We talked on the phone into the early hours about anything and everything. There were no secrets between us. I knew what made him happy, what made him sad, what kept him running when it seemed impossible. Once upon a time, I was falling in love. Now I'm only falling apart.
