I am straight - so in the male & female context of a straight hetersexual relationship as I am guessing this question is limited to :/ As a female I do not chase. I refuse to do that, I feel it is beneath me. If the person is already loving me -then I would imagine we are already very close. There is a BIG difference in the terms "like" & 'love" - so with love, I would imagine our relationship definitions or (if no definitions -our feelings) are already understood.

In the "like" realm....It depends. I tend to be or seem aloof at first, but if the pace quickens I may roll with that too or prompt that...it just depends.

... and I take it you meant "inlove" with~ because I would not be or want to be in a relationship with someone, just anyone, because they "loved" me - that could mean anybody. "Inlove" -again, takes 'two' people... not just one, so that is why I created the answer I did.

I may be seeming to split hairs over surmantics, and -I am, but I feel like people young or older may get their ideas confused and mislabel and therefore use the term "love" wayyyy too loosely when something isn't even "love" at all.

If I wouldn't know him I'd try to get to know him I guess

i would hope if he loved me that much he'd have asked me out. And we'd already be a happy couple. If you love someone let them know... or you could lose your chance :)
