I loved how Jake portrayed the character in the movie but there was more of Mark's development in the book. Plus I loved all his moments with John, that's part of what drew me to the story as well as John's relationships with Sarah & Sam:) Hopfully the long awaited extended cut and deleted scenes will gain more of my interest in this wonderful character:)
