She's just so good in everything. My favorite performances of hers are from Aliens and The Ice Storm.

Rachel McAdams is so incredible! Mean Girls, Red Eye, The Notebook, she did perfect in them! In my opinion she is truly the best actress of all time!... true msdeanw, Jennifer Garner was great in Alias - it's one of my fav shows... Nothing can stop Rachel she is awesome!!!!! I can't wait to see more of her in films.

Well, no offence, Mod_or_rocker, you obviously don't know a lot about actresses. Almost all of the original ones (meaning the ones that weren't added) are in big hit movies. You should get out more.

Well you might not like lindsay's personal life but you can't deny she is a great actress. I think the new'er actress are way better then the old ones. its out with the old and in with the NEW. but I still chose McAdams cuz she rocks

It might be out with the old and in with the new but I'm willing to bet that in 50 years time no one will even remember the names of these 'newer better' actresses. Will Lohan or Watson ever be regarded as Hollywood screen legends? Doubt it very much, but that's just my opinion.

Actually I 100% disagree with you Cammie. I think it will be the exact opposite in 50 years time. But I guess we will just have to see.

No-one on the list can even compare to the classic actresses. I would have put up oldie favourites such as:
Vivien Leigh
Maggie Smtih
Katherine Hepburn
Elizabeth Taylor
Audrey Hepburn
Carole Lombard

Because anyone over the age of twenty would have at least heard of the actresses oldmovie listed. I think this is mainly a debate of the younger generation versus the older, which would explain someone actually listing Lindsay Lohan in a "best actress of all time" category. But to avoid such strong disgreement when such picks are posted, maybe there should be no 'add your own' options.
