Does anyone know what the moral of My Neighbor Totoro was?

I think the moral is to believe in what আপনি like and it may come true... But, believe in yourself, and আপনি can do anything আপনি put your mind to.

So the real morale of the story is respect- Nature, the elderly, strangers, family, and for one's self. This is shown all throughout the movie. When আপনি respect people, they will treat আপনি well & will comfort আপনি when you're down. Even if আপনি don't want to like someone, আপনি should still be kind. And finally, when আপনি treat nature with respect, it will respect আপনি back.
