Laura Prepon: 'OITNB' season 4 picks up right where season 3 ended

 has been renewed for three more seasons. The news comes in advance of the series’ season 4 debut on June 17.

Series creator and showrunner Jenji Kohan will continue at the helm for seasons 5, 6, and 7.

“Three more years! Not quite a political term, but still plenty of time to do some interesting things. In some cultures, ‘May you lead an interesting life,’ is a curse, but I don’t live in those cultures,” said Kohan in a statement. “Here’s to keeping it interesting.
