According to Netflix, users are 34 percent more likely to watch comedy around the early hours of 6 a.m. than any other time during the day, including shows like
. Between noon and 2 p.m., the focus turns to offerings like
. Forty-seven percent of viewing from all over the world accounts for drama around lunchtime, while thrillers tend to see a 27 percent spike by 9 p.m.
The infographic also notes that comedy makes a comeback after 11:00 p.m. to help close out the day, but then there are the midnight bingers: Between the hours of midnight and 6 a.m., documentaries and docuseries like
Fifteen percent of Netflix streaming occurs between these late-night, early-morning hours, and the number can rise to 21 percent in Japan and South Korea.
