i know they are all "essential" and obviously none of them is going to leave the show.. but if one had to.. which one?

I know Aria was suppose to be the main character at the beggining but she isnt really important to the A storyline...I mean, Spencer is super important because she is always investigating and getting clues and stuff, Hanna is Mona's best friend and its important to have someone who is connected to A and Emily had a special bond with Ali but Aria...she havent done anithing relevant, her only storyline is about Ezra and her family.

She does absolutely nothing. It's all Ezra, all the time. I just think her plot is the most boring.

yeah her entire plot is about ezra,family and ezra.
she never gets involved too much like em, hannah or spence!
that's boring, sorry but it really is. she never gets really into trouble to be nearly killed or smth.

Spencer and Aria are my top 2 girls. I dont care for Emily or her story line. To me she does not really do anything important.

with me Spencer is the most important! she has the connection with all characters in the show while Aria's story is so boring with only Ezra and her family

It's nothing personal, but I just love Spencer, because she's the master mind of the group, I couldn't imagine PLL without Hanna, because she's hilarious and I kinda like Aria and her life that is so full of drama, so... Sorry Em fans! Again, it's nothing personal!

I feel like Aria and Spencer (Spencer, especially) do most of the dirty work when it comes to the A thing. Hanna's essential 'cause we need comedy every once in a while. Emily's just... there.

Yes, Aria's main storyline was her and Ezra for a long time, but Emily didn't even have much of a storyline. Not one that had actual things happening in it, anyway. Aria's content in her relationship and has that in between being with the girls. It's a secondary storyline for her now (in my eyes, anyway). Emily's is just dragging on and on about her coming out. She came out, dealt with everything that came with it and that should have been the end of it. Sure, she could have it sprinkled in there, but it shouldn't be her entire reason for being on the show. All she does is talk about her sexuality and how much she loved Ali. It's annoying.
