There have been numerous adaptations of Jane Austen’s celebrated 1813 novel, "Pride and Prejudice" over the past decades. Two of these versions happened to be BBC miniseries that aired in 1980 and 1995. It has been a long time since I have viewed the 1980 miniseries. However, I recently saw the 1995 miniseries for the umpteenth time and decided to finally write a review of it. We've seen every version of PandP, we've read the book countless times, and we all have a secret crush (or not so secret) on this 18th century male. Why can't we get enough?...

Mr. Darcy is not only a charecter in Pride and Prejudice but he is a true lead in the book. He is a mysterious, intriguing charecter that seems to truly hit প্রথমপাতা in our hearts even আরো than we can explain. But how? Don’t judge a book দ্বারা it’s cover…its শিরোনাম may give the readers a different connotation of what this book is really about. It may give the readers an idea of discrimination, fury, preconception অথবা judgment, but on the contrary Pride and Prejudice is simply just the greatest প্রণয় story of all time.

"LOST IN AUSTEN" (2008) Review

I must admit that I am usually not a অনুরাগী of novels অথবা any other forms of storytelling that are based upon অথবা continuations of published works of the origin author. This is certainly the case for the numerous works (sans two) based upon Jane Austen's six published novels.

The 2008 miniseries, "LOST IN AUSTEN" is not based upon any particular Austen novel that was not written দ্বারা the Georgian Era writer. Instead, it is the brainchild of screenwriter Guy Andrews.
