Scott Eastwood is about to blast off as a movie star with his new film
, which is in theaters now. But, there was a chance he would have landed one of the most buzzed about roles in recent years.
The 29-year-old actor was up for the role of Christian Grey in the movie
, but he has revealed that he refused to audition as they wouldn’t let him read the script first.
“They wanted me to sign a deal before I went in and even tested for it, which to me is backwards,” Scott told
. “I thought it could make a good movie. The problem is, if you don’t have a script, you don’t know what movie they are going to make.”
The role eventually went to Charlie Hunnam, who dropped out with the part later going to Jamie Dornan.
