How do আপনি think Severus মতামত children? (Just children, not his own অথবা anything)

I agree with MasterOfFear. Though I don't think he hates children. He seemed to like Draco and he looked after the students the best he could while he was headmaster. I just think he's harsh, unforgiving and unfair because that's how he was treated দ্বারা adults when he was a child. No adult looked out for him. His parents were neglectful, Albus wasn't exactly fair minded in his treatment of Severus while he was a student and his head of house was Slughorn, who only paid attention to students he deemed special.

How he was at that age probably severly affects how he veiws kids. He probably hated everyone around him when he was a student, so Snape, not willing to treat kids like little angels, treats them in a way he thinks they deserve. He sort of treats them like miniature adults, probably because of how precocious he was at that age.

The only students Severus showed disdain for were Harry, Hermione, and Neville. And Ron, kind of. He was very giving and showed horrible favoritism toward his Slytherin students. So, I don't think it's "children" that Severus has a problem with. I think he just lets his biased-ness, past, and grudge-holding tendencies get in the way of his judgement of Gryffindors (and certain aforementioned Gryffindors especially).

I think the 3 of আপনি are right. আপনি each spotted an aspect of his relationship with kids and in particular his so-called disdain, if not hatred, of them.

It's interesting to compare his behavior with them, with that of Umbridge, who clearly hates kids. Severus never states something as such and even did his best to protect them from the Carrows when he was headmaster. I suspect him to have sworn to Dumbledore to do his best to protect not only Harry, but also all the others. Let's do not forget the Unbreakable Vow he had taken to protect Draco either.
