Snape's death *spoiler*

I think they had him say it outright in the movie to drive the point across incase viewers forgot অথবা weren't aware of the fact that Snape felt an unavoidable connection with Harry because he has Lily's eyes.

In the book Rowling was আরো subtle about it and didn't need to worry about saying it outright - book readers were probably much আরো aware of the backstory over all.

Well, in the book I think he did it just so he could see Lily's eyes one last time. In the movie, Severus wasn't quite as (I don't want to say developed, but it's kind of the only word that fits) in the book. There needed to be some motive for Harry to take the memories and I think Severus, for the first time ever, mentioning the likeness between Harry was Lily was the push Harry needed.

I think he wanted to see Lily's eyes for the last time and like so many others have told Harry he ব্যক্ত it and knew Harry would soon know the truth about the connection he had with his mother =)

It dawns on Harry I think right as Severus dies what his words mean. It is the first time in his life that the Potions Master has ever ব্যক্ত a kind thing to him, and the only time he has ever compaired Harry to his Mother. I am glad that they added that line.

I just wish they had included আরো information in The Prince's Tale. Non-book অনুরাগী get the wrong idea. Twice the প্রশ্ন has been brought up to me দ্বারা co-workers, "is Snape Harry's father?" So I have to explain to them the relationship. I'm grateful we got The Prince's Tale, and they did do a good job with what they did include, I just wish they had been closer to canon on a few details.
