Actually, you're not "supposed" to do anything. It's generally accepted that আপনি can have all the hair down there আপনি want until আপনি start being sexually active (because there's no reason to go to the bother of making something pretty until আপনি know someone will be able to see it), and after that point আপনি can ask your partner if they find আপনি আরো attractive with অথবা without the hair, because everyone has a different opinion. Even then, it's your body, and আপনি have the final word.

That being said, I think it's considered trendy in the United States right now to shave it off (no idea about other countries). Note the word "trend", what's জনপ্রিয় now might not be in a few years.
