Song Joong Ki shares thoughts on his big hit drama \'Descendants of the Sun\'

Descendants of the Sun\', which brought us both tears and joy, has come to an end. Following the final episode, Song Joong Ki shared thoughts on the hit drama through Blossom Entertainment.

Song Joong Ki said, "Hello, this is Song Joong Ki. Thank you so much for the great love for \'Descendants of the Sun\'. This drama also means a lot to me. It was the first one I filmed after my return from the military, and the pre-shooting allowed me to happily work in a new environment with great cast and crew. \'Yoo Si Jin\' is a character who is playful, yet also serious and greatly determined.. I was worried a lot about my capabilities in portraying these qualities, and it took great time and effort to create the drama. But it\'s already ending so in a way I am a bit sad. To those viewers who gave great love for \'Descendants of the Sun\', as well as the staff and actors, once again, thank you so much."

The hit drama might be the biggest turning point in Song Joong Ki\'s career. \'Descendants of the Sun\' is now over, but it\'s only the beginning to Song Joong Ki\'s glorious future.

Guess the writer must have learnt a lesson from Cheese in the Trap which had many raved and riding high on it but spit on it afterwards because of the disappointing final episode.  If DOTS has stuck to its original sad ending instead of this happy ending, I guess it would have suffered the same fate too.

I have never seen a tv drama who has almost everything,  I\'ve seen Heirs & My Love From the Star, but " Descendants of the Sun " has it all, good looking lead actors, romance-comedy in one, actiion-suspense, patriotism & dedication & love for one\'s chosen field/craft. Song Joongki & Song Hye Kyo both deserve an "A" grade for their excellent acting prowess, that made the tv series a great hit in the International scene, I would really like to see a 2nd drama/film, coz\' their chemistry is unbelievably strong & eye-catching. TWO THUMBS UP FOR THE PRODUCTION TEAM, especially the scriptwriter who did all those lines that made everyone fall in love with the drama. Song Joongki\'s fans are hopeful that he could visit the Philippines before or after the airing of Descendants of the Sun on GMA 7.
