I like Sonic's new look because it makes him look more true to his character and appearance, while still looking realistic in a nice way, and the comedy and humour from him in the trailer was nice and it really makes me want to see the film now when it comes out :)

Not even a comparison in my book. The new one is really just 2020's adventure Sonic when you consider how they went about creating him. Much better than the detective Pikachu wannabe' Sonic the old design was. ~

I'm normal not that picky. I like em both, but will stick with the updated design. I hope like Detective Pikachu did, i hope they make live action Sonic The Hedgehog plushies/action figures. I'd buy that.
