"Gather around" Wavestorm call's, "Anyone who wants to hear about our past, gather around!" Wavestorm, calls from the elders den. Stormstar sits beside her as clan members begin pouring from the warriors গর্ত to hear about her past.
Spottedshadow and Bloodpool appear from the nursery, followed দ্বারা Thistlekit, Moonkit, and Nightkit. Then Stormstar spots Featherpaw and Daisypaw come out of the apprentaces den. There sister Fernpaw, then appears from the med. cat গর্ত followed দ্বারা Lilypaw. The warriors Mistyflower, Nightstalker, Spruceleaf, and Dawnsky sit near the back row to give everyone else some space.
Once everyone is gathered Stormstar raises her head to speak, Wavestorm watches her through narrowed eyes from where she sits beside her. "well, i wasnt expecting so many of the clan to be this courious about my past! Now lets see, where do i begin............."

I squeaked, as a tounge rasped my back. "Wake up" a soothing voice meowed, then I felt a muzzel nudge me towards something warm and smelling of milk. I realized that it was my moms belly, i began to suckle দুধ and purred as the tounge continued to rasp my back and warm me.
Around me, I could hear the squeaks and purrs of happiness from other kits, i realized that i was not alone with my mother.
"Which one" The soothing voice asked, "this one" the voice of a tom cat answered her question. I felt a muzzel touch my back, the nose felt cold against my new kit pelt.
"Shes perfect and one day, shes going to be a great leader! Shes after all, the biggest and oldest of all her littermates." The tom sounded proud and bold, as he spoke, i knew instantly that he was my father.
My mother ব্যক্ত nothing, although i could hear her purring as the tom spoke.
I wanted to see the world, to know what everything looked like, smelled like, and tasted like. I pried open my eyes, and gazed wide-eyed around.
Everything was so big! We were sheltering under a giant boulder, it was dug out underneath to make a big dirt den! I could feel dirt under my paws, then i noticed shafts of light shinning through the entrance. I could smell ফুলেরডালি and herbs, and well, air! I coul also detect the scents of other cats, i guessed that they were outside the den.
Then i noticed that i was laying against my mothers pelt, the scent of দুধ floaded from her belly but i was to full to drink. I looked to my side and saw one, no two, no three other kits nuzzeling her belly and purring happily. None of their eyes were open yet.
"Oh my god, one of the kits, eyes are open!" I heard my fathers voice exclaim! I gazed up and saw a huge black tom cat with narrowed amber eyes. He was gazing at me with aww in his eyes.
I wondered what he was thinking about? "Shes the oldest and the strongest! Shes the perfect cat to rule our group!" He announced.
I gazed up at my mother, her glossy gray-blue pelt seemed to shine in the morning sunlight and her blue gaze was filled with warmth and প্রণয় for me and my littermates.
"One day, she will be a great cat, along with her littermates" my mother agreed. Although my father ignored her, his eyes were all for me.
I tried to rise to my paws, but my legs felt wabbly and unsteady beneath my paws. I got up but then gravity pulled me back down, it seemed that the world was so certain to make sure i couldnt get up and explore.
Then i felt a muzzel nudge my back, "come on" my father encouraged me, his amber gaze was full of প্রণয় and gentleness, "you can do it, my little succeder!"
I tried to rise once more, to my surprise it was easier this time and in a couple of heartbeats i was standing! I stumbled over to the entrance, but there was a muddy slid, that was bigger then me! I couldnt get up. I squeaked with annoyance then noticed a small puddle near me.
I stumbled over to it, then gazed at it. The puddle reflected my image! I realized that i was smaller then i realized and had fluffy gray kit fur! My eyes were light green and i had tabby markings above my eyes. But as i looked at the rest of my pelt i realzied that i was not a tabby, i was mixed! The marks along my sides reminded my of streams and rivers lapping across each other.
Then i prickled my small dark gray ears as i heard lots of talking outside. I could hear the exciting meows of other cats, to many to count. I instantly knew they were talking about me and my littermates!
Then my father stepped beside me, "are আপনি ready to meet your followers?" He asked. Before i could reply, he grasped my scruff and headed for the entrance. He jumped over the mud slide and out through the gap in the boulder.
I squinted my eyes as we steped out of the den. It was even brighter outside! ঘাস and trees and bushes surrounded my den. Along with many eager faces gazing at me. There were SO many cats!
My father dropped me at his paws, as the other মার্জার starred at me in awww.
"Meet your future ruler" He announced to the cats. The crowed began to cheer and yowl in excitment. I licked my fluffy chest পশম in embarresment.
Then i looked up at my father. He was standing tall, with his chest puffed out, and galring in defiance at the মার্জার around him. For the first time i noticed that his muzzel had a scar sliced through it and his body was battered with scracthes snd scars and bruses, all signs of past battles.
Then my father walked away towards the forest, leaving me to watch him go alone. The crowed began to break up, leaving a single pup, watching me though excited eyes.
He looked only a couple moons old, his fluffy black kit fur, caught my eyes. He seemed like a gift to me, our eyes meet, his amber-blue and my green. It was প্রণয় at first sight. I felt my হৃদয় beat faster and i could tell me felt the same.
Then i saw a brown tabby she-cat padding towards the black kit, a brown tabby tom kit stumbled after her.
"Nightstar" she growled, আপনি know better then to be alone. "If Ozone caught you, then আপনি wouldnt have a life to lose anymore" she growled. The brown tabby kit bounced up to Nightstar, I guessed he must have been his brother. "hurry up, if we stay in the open much longer then well become the prey instead of redater" he squeaked.
Nightstar looked down at his paws, "sorry aphrodite, i was jus-" his last words never came because his mother, Aphrodite grasped his scruff and quickly trotted away, followed দ্বারা the brown tabby kit, who stumbled after her.
My ears dropped in dissapointment. Then i turned around and fled back in my mothers den.
As i stepped near her belly i noticed that my littermates eyes had opened as well! My mother was talking soothingly to them. She looked up as i came in the den.
"Ahh, Storm its good to see you" She meowed. "I want আপনি to meet your littermates. This one is Silver-" she pointed to the one that was lying beside me when i first opened my eyes. Silver was a gray tabby she-kit, -"and this ones Crow-" পরবর্তি my mother pointed to a black tom, that was lying beside Silver, -"and this is Wave" my mother pointed to the last kit, it was another blue-gray she-kit with eyes like blue water.
Then i heard paw-steps behind me and saw my father coming back in, with a মাউস in his jaws. He padded over to my mother and dropped it at her paws. "This mouse, is for আপনি Wind" he told her. Wind, nodded to my father, "thank আপনি Ozone."
My father dipped his head and headed back out of the den.
I stumbled over to my mother and reclaimbed my spot দ্বারা her belly, as she began to eat.
I yawned from my short first journey and cuddled closer to her warm fur. I could tell my littermates were as tired as i was.
