Super Junior\'s Shindong to step down as DJ of \'ShimShimTapa\' radio show + Jung Joon Young to take over

Super Junior\'s Shindong has decided to step down from MBC Radio\'s \'ShimShimTapa\' after 6 years as DJ.

Shindong started the show in April of 2008, and fans as well as listeners are sad to hear the sudden news.

SM Entertainment told Star News on June 25, "After discussing with the producers, he decided to leave the show due to military enlistment in the second half of this year as well as Super Junior\'s planned album." The agency added that Shindong received his enlistment order this past March from the Office of the Military Manpower Administration.

With Shindong\'s last days as DJ coming up in July, it\'s been decided that \'ShimShimTapa\' will be taken over by singer

I don\'t have anything against Jung Joon Young being a DJ but Shindong oppa did such a good job being a DJ especially with idols because he is familiar with them because he is an idol too... he always make it fun and comfortable for the guest...

I\'ll miss him so much... SSTP and SuKiRa are 2 radios that I sometimes watch even without subtitles... I don\'t even need to understand it fully to enjoy it... well partially because both DJ are from Super Junior but still if it\'s not that good, I don\'t think I\'ll watch it especially without subs... both are just that great...

Sad he\'ll be leaving, he is a great dj and sstp is very entertaining. I am sure it will be hard for him to leave, he has been doing it for 6 yrs and like he said it before the show means a lot to him. I wonder why did\'t they picked another SJ member to do it, like heechul  or kangin, since they both have experience, either way wish him the best and glad will get 7jib soon!

I think probably kangin and heechul are also busy with drama and variety show... plus right now they are planning for comeback... I\'ll miss DJ shindong so much... =(

i hope shimshimtapa will gain popularity when time comes and shindong step down form his position it will be great if they let Gyuri be the DJ  once again she was adorable and excellent  DJ

This sucks. He\'s the reason why I decided to give radio a chance. He\'s the reason why I actually love this show. Well I wish him the best and try to welcome the new dj. Sukira is still doing well after leetuek ang eunhyuk left, right?

As much as I am sad that Shin-Dong is leaving, I am realllllyyy happy that JungJoonYoung is taking over. He doesn\'t have the quick-wit like Shindong but I\'m looking forward to it as he never seem to disappoint me.

As much as I love joon young and as much I know he is capable of doing this show It would have been better if a suju member has taken over just like what happened to SuKiRa when Leeteuk entered the army So that when shindong gets out of the army he can take over .. Heechul would have been a great replacement or even kangin oppa who both has a experience in this field .. Sukira and Shim Shim Tapa are two shows that has a special place in ELF\'s heart ;)

It\'s going to be hard since he loved DJ-ing SSTP. 

Though I\'m sad he will leave SSTP, I am happy that he will leave to prepare for something we ELFs have all been waiting for. Though I wish that once he\'ll be discharged from army in the future, he can be back to SSTP. Hwaiting!

Wow, Jung Joon Young is appearing everywhere nowadays! He\'s pretty hot. Shindong will definitely be missed.
