I like tattoos in general and I think this one is great, but I'm not sure about the exact meaning of it, being very cautious about such things,I can't rely on the show in 100%.. , I'm not saying that I'm too religious, but church won't approve this pentagram. though I can't exclude the possibility that I'll get tattooed one fine day :))

I know em_em has this and it came out beautifully. I've been thinking of picking up a Supernatural one as well to join my little Harry Potter and my large Spuffy one but need a Doctor Who one first or maybe Angel. I'm of the thought that if something is important to you, if it strikes you emotionally and you are attached to it, then if you want to express it through ink it's fine.

Yes ok I do have to tell some people that it is not in fact a satanic symbol and that they are mistaken but that only been like 2 or 3 people!
When I got it done the woman who did it for me told me she is a SPN fan too and she was really happy I was getting it done! She is really into symbols and told me that it is in fact a protection symbol, she also said its one of the oldest 'woman power and protection symbol'. I was happy to know that it was what they said on the show.
Also to agree with what Arabella said, if a symbol or picture really does mean something to you and/or you fall in love with it then its up to you and no one else if you get it as a tattoo!

I have severe reservations about tattoos for religious reasons, but I think it would look amazing.

Well as long as you get it and you know the real meaning of the pentagram, I get so mad at people who wear them for the wrong reason like to intimadate people or make people think they are satanist's, it is an insult to wiccan and pagan religions and it makes them look bad. I hate how during Halloween they sell a package of horns and a pentagram necklace and label it "Satan" (please people don't buy those). I was a devil last year for Halloween and I did not dare or even think of wearing my REAL pentagram necklace with the costume it would have been an insult! When I wear my pentagram I stick it under my shirt and keep it close to my heart I don't flaunt it, I do think it is a beautifull tattoo though and I think it's cool if people get the tattoo as long as they know what it really means.

That's not really what I think, I just don't like tattoos, that's all. If I didn't mind them, I'd probably have one myself!

i dont realy like tattos, but if i do get a tattoo it would be this symbol, mostly because im a HUGE supernatural and jensen ackles fan lol, but consitering im not old enough to get a tattoo ill just have to be content with my 67 impala that i just happend to name metallicar my parents think i named it that because i listen to alot of metallica lol :P

I think it’s awesome, and it’s not just to show love for the show, but the real meaning behind it is ‘A circle around a pentagram contains and protects. The circle symbolises eternity and infinity, the cycles of life and nature. The circle touching all 5 points indicates that the spirit, earth, air, water and fire are all connected.’ If I was to ever get a tattoo then it would be of this.. not too big, but it had a great meaning to it, and it protects you, and it looks cool! :D For know though I would rather get the necklace 

I got mine last week...I love the show, think the Tat looks awesome anyway, and I'm down with the meaning behind it.

I have this tattoo on my back. I absolutely love it. I did alot of research before I decided to get it because I know there are alot of misconceptions on the meaning of pentagrams. I made up my mind to get it when I found out that it really is a symbol of protection. We can all use a little protection.

I think its a great way to show support of the show it doesnt have to be a real one but I myself like it and want one!!!!!!

I'm getting this tattoo as a 'tramp stamp' with really artistic, beautiful swirl designs on either side.
I actuallu love the tattoos of this symbol because although the meaning is protection against evil and posession, to me I purely read into it just the in general protection against evil part. And, I find myself really connected to symbols such as pentagrams etc. even though I AM NOT into occults or anything like that. Magic is just who I am, and what I like to surround my life with in my novel writing and short stories. The fantastical is more attainable and pleasing a concept to grasp for many people.
