I think it’s pretty silly to keep comparing singing styles. Ok, some are operatic singers, some are just classically trained, others have a brief passage on lyrical singing, others are popular singers and what about it? The only bands I know that have a “rule” about always having a lyric or popular singer are Coronatus and Therion. Fine, you can like whatever you like, I’m not going to force you to swallow it, but you can’t kill bands such as Tristania and Nightwish fandom does.


i don’t know if anyone mentioned this here, but I’m so excited about rock opera videogame Karmaflow! And it will have awesome cast: Simone Simons, Elize Ryd, Alissa White-Gluz, and others!

What does her looks have to do with her talent? For your information, airbrush is used all the time in the entertainment business. I actually meet Liv Kristine in person (It was so freaking awesome, she was so sweet, I LOVE HER), she is actually very beautiful, She has some wrinkles around the side of her eyes, but her biggest issue at the beginning of Leave’Eyes (if you look at some of their first tours), she doesn’t wear the right makeup for her face, and it doesn’t help that she’s pale. Also I disagree with her lyrics being terrible, but that because i enjoy them.


Some people say that Liv Kristine being photoshoped is not her fault. But I don’t know, she could maybe ask for a lighter airbrush.


Since all the other debates have run it’s course, people are trying to pick on Liv Kristine, one of the few female-fronted singers I actually love? Hell to the no. She has zero control over what others do to her photoshoots and her lyrics are NOT bland. You just haven’t paid enough attention to them.


I honestly think Amaranthe would be better without Elize.
