I think it really depends. I've seen three so far. Degrassi:The Next Generation/Next Class, Girl Meets World and Fuller House. They need to range from great and occasionally better than the original to disappointing and forced. It depends on the writing.

Wait, does this include spinoffs, years later? I like Girl Meets World enough, but not nearly as much as the original. Fuller House I may like more than the original, actually!

But like, with Community, which was cancelled but Hulu picked it up, I stopped watching after it was cancelled. I'd lost interest.
