These are the ones I've been thinking about. Buffy is at the top of my list but it all depends on availability of the dvds at my library.

buffy dvds and even vhs are so easy to find as all seasons are avaible in all countries. i always strongly suggfest buffy and angel the whole buffy verse, also looking at your profiles and what tv shows you are a fan off i think you will definalty love buffy, i will personally say season 2 is the best but they are all amazing!

thats a great one also gilmore girls is good and of course house but I would start with buffy.

You should watch Gilmore Girls!! It is a great show and you will really enjoy it!! If you don't want to buy all of the DVD's, you can watch them on ABC FAMILY every week day at 10 and 4. Soapnet also shows Gilmore Girls on Sat. and Sun. nights. I hope you enjoy your summer!!

i recommend BtVS to everyone!! (well maybe not for people who are insensitive, hate any violence, have no depth to them and are looking for a shallow stupid show...then BtVS isn't for you)
if you're looking for a show to make you laugh, and then cry, and then laugh and then cry again all in the same scene- BtVS is your show!! the first season is great but it's much more "high school" and not as deep as the other seasons. but i still recommend starting from the beginning in order to get the full effect of the show.

I would really recommend Buffy. If you can't find them to rent at the library I'm fairly certain that Hollywood Video/Movie gallery carry seasons one, two, and seven (don't ask about the gap, I've exhausted all options on that one). Also, if you want and can't find a particular disk or anything at all just ask on the Buffy spot or im me and I'll link one to you.

umm i wouldn't recommend prison break though i know some people love it and ugly betty is good if your looking for something funny

Buffy was my first TV show that got me into others, it's my all-time favorite and I really think you would enjoy it. My personal favorite seasons are season 3, 4, and 6, but of course you should start at the beginning! Amazon and eBay have all the seasons, or you could probably find quite of a few eps online. I hope your library has all the discs, mine does. If you enjoy Buffy you should watch it's spin-off Angel. And if you like the genre of the show and enjoy the writing, you should watch Firefly, Joss Whedon's (the Buffy creator) un-Buffy related show, it's great as well. AND if you like that...

Well maybe I should see if you like Buffy first :) Another great show on this list is Gilmore Girls, if Buffy is not for you, watch this show!

I wouldn't mind doing the shows that are finished because at least i don't have to worry about a new season.

I would go with Buffy. There are seven seasons and it has it all. There is humor, action, romance, and supernatural aspects. I love this show. Although Gilmore Girls and House are very good.

You can see the first three seasons online for free at Hulu. That's how I started watching.

i've seen PB,,,, first 2 seasons were awesome but it started getting boring for me actually .... but maybe it wouldn't for you!

I actually just started watching Buffy.I'm still on season one.two more episode 'till I'm on the second season.I already seen Gilmore Girls, great show.
