Josh Brolin has reportedly been cast to voice the villain Thanos in Marvel’s

, Marvel has been looking to cast Thanos over the last year.

Now they’ve found the voice of Thanos in actor Josh Brolin, who may also end up performing the Marvel villain’s motion capture as well. This could be some very inspiring casting for Marvel, which needs a prominent villain to replace Tom Hiddleston’s Loki.

While Marvel and Brolin’s representatives have yet to confirm the reports that he has been cast as Thanos, multiple rumors have now been reported since Friday and reliable insiders have been confirming the reports.

Josh Brolin’s latest films have struggled, including his most recent film with Kate Winslet,

, but he’s an excellent actor and we’re extremely excited for him to join Marvel’s Cinematic Universe by playing the incredibly powerful and interesting villain Thanos.

We look forward to Marvel confirming the news that he will voice Thanos, and hopefully we’ll get to hear him voice the character in the highly anticipated

Are you excited about Josh Brolin voicing the villainous role of Thanos in Marvel’s

I’m actually pretty excited about this news (as opposed to the more recent news from Marvel, this is a hell of a lot better). This guy is a really good actor and I really like his voice too, deep and strength to it which is what a character like Thanos definitely needs.

However, if we were to see him in Guardians it has to only be an after credit, no more surely, in which case I’ll be too excited to wait until next year for Ultron and then longer for Thanos! If not they’ve done well to pull that off.

From what I hear, Thanos is going to play a bigger role in Guardians than people expect. Even if what I read is wrong, I’m really excited about this casting choice. Like James Spader, Josh Brolin has a very unique voice that can sound very menacing. Not to mention he has some great range.

Guys this is from Latino review I’d hold off on the speculation

A lot of major news places are reporting it. It’s probably true.

I don’t trust Latino Review at all. I actually won’t post anything they’ve reported, but insiders have told us that this is true. If it isn’t true, then multiple sources completely unrelated to Latino Review are mistaken.

I’m pretty sure Thanos will have a bigger role in Phase 3. This does seem like a good casting decision though.
