I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Thor: Ragnarok May Have Foreshadowed A Major Death In Avengers: Infinity War
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
A Reddit user has possibly stumbled upon what could be a sizeable
were a harrowing affair. We saw a seemingly unstoppable Thanos defeat the Hulk in combat and destroy his confidence in the process. We also watched as Asgard’s guardian Heimdall was unceremoniously killed, whilst the God of Mischief, Loki, got snapped like a twig by the Mad Titan. This, all while Thor had been rendered inert and forced to sit by and watch.
Now, an eagle-eyed MCU fan has spotted what may have been a stunning example of foreshadowing in the credits of
, which see the God of Thunder grieving over the body of his departed brother, Loki. It could be just mere coincidence, but check out the screenshot below and see what you make of it.
Of course, it’s entirely possibly (and entirely more likely) that it relates to the scene in which Matt Damon and Luke Hemsworth act out the death of Loki to the delight of the
Loki. Either way, though, it’s still a neat little nod to the eventual fate of the God of Mischief at the hands of Thanos.
Of course, Loki has died once or twice before, so a return is not completely out of the question, but it seems more than likely that those who fell to Thanos’ deadly finger snap will be the only ones to show their face again, with Loki, Heimdall, Gamora and Vision all gone for good.
Either way, we should find out soon enough, as
is headed for reshoots this summer and once those are done, the marketing machine will likely begin to kick into gear ahead of the film’s May 3rd, 2019 release.
