um. evolution is NOT correct. i have never been nor will i ever be a monkey!

Whoever picked evolution please answer this. How come the human eye is so vastly different then any other? How come the brain can hold such complex information? Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes? Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavour, isn't it now just an opinion?

According to general people the thing is if you can't hear, taste, smell, see, or touch something then it doesn't exists. Have you seen your brain? Have you touched it? Smelt it? Tasted it? Heard it? Then by that rule apparently it doesn't exist, with all due respect. I have heard God. I've seen his actions. I have felt his presence. He has helped me through things that I would not be able to by myself.

Do you believe in the Big Bang Theory? If you do, what started it? What happened before it? God started it. God was there before the beginning.

If you ask who created God, I will tell you this. God was there before any type of creation was made. He is outside of time and space. He is the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last. When we think of God we think of a physical body. However he isn't just physical. He is a Spirit. A thousand years to us is like a day to him. God always has been and is and will be.

If God is a being that is unlimited in time, and if He has access to every piece of time as if it were now, the question of who created God is an invalid question. The problem is like asking a student to draw a four-sided triangle. The terminology is self-contradictory.

God exists outside of existence? The beginning means...THE BEGINNING, if there was something before it, then that was not the beginning. And if he continues existing before existence and beginnings, there never was a beginning and there never will be. It would be an endless set of uncontrollable paradoxes.
God is unlimited. So why can't he tempt people, and make them do evil? He is limited. Not omnipotent. If he was, he could do everything and anything, including evil.
I like the Bible, it's a good read...it doesn't get my brain working as much as other texts, but it gives me time to ponder on how ridiculous people were thousands of years ago. And how many times it has been translated, misread (everyone misreads it since it's been translated at all), and misused as a shield to defy the law.

And who knows, we may both be wrong! I'd like that, it would give us something new to learn.

I agree with girl5136 and AnnabethC1376. And also, how can people come from nonliving things when a baby can't live long in a dead mothers womb? And how can we evolve into other creatures when we we don't hear anything about it in history books? I really don't think Christopher Columbus was a monkey when he went and discovered the New World! I don't understand how people can read history and not see that. And then other proof about the shape of a cross in the Milky Way and that one of the planets spins differently(I don't remember which one, maybe Neptune?)They're all signs of God! If you can see that, you will be in my prayers.

Roxas1314, God is not limited,he could have looked into the future and see what would have happened, but he chose not too. he made us because he wanted someone to love him on our own will. That's why we have such free will. God could have prevented Satan from doing what he did, it even says in the Bible(I can't remember where but I learned in the Sunday sermon!)that he regretted doing he did.We will know more about God when we(those who know Jesus Christ as their Savior) get to Heaven.
Um... what part of God being Holy don't you understand? their was Holiness before their was sin, and if God had everything why would he to go do something so dark and icky? BECAUSE HE DOESN'T TAKE ANY PLEASURE IN THAT! that's, that why he made us, for him to love us and for us to love him back.
Oh, And the races came from the tower of Bable,(I pretty sure I spelled that wrong)because they disobeyed God by not going out into the world multiplying. So God forced them.

i haven't picked any here because the answers are too limited and i agree with gir5136. However in these discussions most of us like to generalize a little too freely....I don't agree with biological evolution as no body of observational evidence exist for it. However the same cannot be said for stellar evolution. Basically there are different types of evolution and most debates between Christians and other people refer particularly to biological evolution. It is wrong! Yet Christians unknowingly leave room for other people to heap ridicule on them since other types of evolution is proven to exist. Stellar evolution involves the birth and death of stars and even galaxies over a billion years. We can observe them through the lighttime distance.....the more further we look the more older we perceive things based on the constant of the speed of light. A simple example is enough to demonstrate this...the speed of light is about 300,000 kms/sec and the distance between earth and sun is about 150,000,000 kms so the light from the sun takes approx 8 mins to reach earth...that means at any one time when we steal a look at the sun we are seeing it as it was 8 minutes ago. Now imagine we are looking at a star that is million of light-years distant from us...which means we would be seeing it as it was millions of years ago....this is called looked-back time and through this we can find different stars at different evolutionary stage of their lives. Basically since lightspeed is constant and the light from these distant objects would require billions of years......i am bound to think that this is so.....God has made two communication devices to communicate with us....1 is the bible 2 is nature or the universe....they are both from God....and it is logical to expect that both of them say the same things and they do....it is only human interpretations that are alienating the one from the other......In genesis the 7th day is open but in Hebrews when Paul was writing he said that they still have not entered into that rest of the 7th day.....so in effect the 7th day on its own is already about 6000 human or solar years in duration....Even if people would want to debate this, there is a unrecognised flaw in any arguments for the 6-literal days of creation. They all assume that the chronology of genesis starts from the beginning....but here is the trap......if you reread genesis carefully day one starts AFTER the universe and earth have ALREADY been created. Day one involves the light appearing act. But what is the chronology from "In the beginning" to the act of day 1? How long has it been before God did the act in day 1? Moreover, the grammatical usage to denote the Ancientness of God himself is usually the hebrew 'ad and in our English translations usually translated as everlasting....so the question begs itself how come in Habbakkuk we are told that the mountains of the earth are "everlasting" the same 'ad being used.....??? How can we have an everlasting mountains on a very young 6000 years old earth? It creates an ambiguity but yet there cannot be any confusion in the bible and so the fault lies with subjective interpretation of the data presented in the bIble. In effect in many ways than not both the Bible and contemporary physical sciences are giving approx the same age to the universe in general.....I believe God made it all but that doesn;t mean he has to do it in 6 solar days! it could have been 6 billion or even decillion years it would not matter at all to an eternal GOD.....therefore if nature (the universe) after observed investigation is showing signs of billion of years and also that the Bible seems to be implying in numerous passages that the universe may be "everlastting" ......i think we need to reevaluate our worldview of things.....But on another point.....yes biological evolution on the other hand is absolute fairy tale for grown ups......

Wow. The big bang theory was about two particles, like electrons or protons, not two rocks. And evolution isn't that fast as to change monkeys into people overnight. It's a small change that gets accepted into a gene pool and then it changes into something else, it's almost always small changes, no sudden movements as you could say. It can take millions of years for things to evolve. And did you know that the planets evolved from gaseous clouds into what we see today? And that even their moons are evolving and changing? That THEY are changing? And yes that planet spins differently because of how it formed. The History Channel and Astrologists are brilliant.

If something exists outside of existence, that is the same as non-existence. Absolutely nothing can exist OUTSIDE of existence. There is no such thing. It doesn't take much brain power to find the paradoxes.
