My পছন্দ thing about ফ্যানপপ is the people. I've never been part of a website like this - everyone is so friendly and helpful. Imagine joining an উপদেশ group and getting help with a problem on MySpace - আপনি might meet a few pedophiles, but you're not going to get the help আপনি need, and the people aren't going to be nearly this nice.

Most of my প্রশ্ন just come to me. It's really annoying sometimes, actually, because I'll think of a really good প্রশ্ন right before I go to sleep and then I won't be able to sleep unless I make the pick.

oooooo i'd build a palace, i'd banish talentless people who try to become famous like jade goody, i'd make sure everyone played sports any sport just for an ঘন্টা a দিন because even though not everyone likes it does help, also i'm getting fed up with people criticizing me because i like playing and participating in sports, so maybe if everyone in the world found a sport they liked then maybe i wouldn't get so much grief! ok again i'm rambling i would do a lot of things ooooooo kill the blumin' trolls as well! my minds got blank now!

Bliss, god willing. I wouldn't dream of going with anyone else. I am so over johnminh. I took down half my surveillance cameras from around his house and I barely ever even steal his stuff when he's gone anymore. I have found the perfect তারিখ and she is not a man. And for that I am very glad. ;o)

I would use পীচ মুচি to solve world hunger and give bubbles to all the bickering country leaders (who will act like governors under my reign) to solve civil war. Because in truth, bubbles makes everyone happier, and happy people just don't go to war.

It's fun to see what people think of as quality work. Like the soapboxes, and the অনুরাগী art, and the picks-- they're all so cool and impressive and (sometimes) hilarious. It's great to gather what the people think of as the best and the brightest in one place. But the truth is, that these aren't necessarily the "best and the brightest" only the most জনপ্রিয় for the moment. There's oodles of great content out there and great অনুরাগী that don't get recognized because they aren't as popular. In smaller spots, there are equally exquisite অনুরাগী art etc. And they deserve credit too!

my favourite thing about ফ্যানপপ is all the awesome discussions that go on in the বিতর্ক spot (and others). i spend a lot of my time doing assignments that seem totally irrelevant to real life, so being able to come here and talk about issues that really matter (even if it's just for fun) is really refreshing.

since i প্রণয় to give my opinion and my thoughts, i try to spend most of my time at the বিতর্ক spot. i feel like cinders really takes good care of it and i can post my opinion without a billion people shoving their face down my throat, like they do at school. i find new ways to impress my teachers at বিতর্ক on the বিতর্ক spot. in fact, the বিতর্ক spot taught me how to voice my opinion in politics.

i loved ফ্যানপপ at first because of all the great content. and i still প্রণয় it for that and the community is great and makes me laugh my head off. it's not like other websites where আপনি just মতামত about something. on ফ্যানপপ we have little one on one "conversations" অথবা "series of comments". and even though i can feel like a loser at টেনিস tournaments i know that i've just scored a new medal/prop.

I spend most of my time behind the scenes so I don't get into the individual spots as much as I used to. I enjoy the Lost, নায়ক and Office spots.

I'd avoid starting immoral and wars. I'd reduce military budget and start pouring money into education, health care and public infrastructure (Papa is a bleeding heart...). I'd reign in corporate power. I'd muzzle Anne Coulter and make sure everyone was decent to each other and give everyone a cookie (cuz everyone should প্রণয় cookies).

Usually if I create a piece of অনুরাগী art, it's because I'm a অনুরাগী of whatever the subject is, অথবা because I find something beautiful. At other times, it's just because my brain went off to a strange place.

I could go in my tuxedo (although honestly it might not fit anymore), as I enjoy my mastery of the bow-tie challenge. But everyone knows my face from my পরিলেখ pictures, so it would be আরো fun to do something unexpected.
On that note, and to elaborate on what I wrote in this link, I think it would be perfect to প্রদর্শনী up to the Fanpoppy Awards ceremony as a big cuddly নেকড়ে furry. Everyone else would wonder "Who the hell is that freak?" during the ceremonies and how marvelous would it be to then sashay up to accept an award with a long, rambling acceptance speech

Music Videos, hands down. I'd like to say that I spend a lot of time in one of the bazillion spots that I've created, but no. Cressida is great in many ways, but creating that spot was sheer genius...evil genius, that is. I spend so much time in the MV spot that I have little time to spend elsewhere, like finishing আরো of the প্রবন্ধ that I start.

Establish a representative world parliament, along with laws that would require economic alliance between wealthy and impoverished countries, as well as laws to collect 1% of each nation's GDP for education and humanitarian aid. I'd entrench these things with extremely byzantine rules for changing such laws, then I'd go into hiding, doing my level best to avoid any আরো power-tripping (as if that wasn't enough).
whats your পছন্দ thing about ফ্যানপপ অথবা the fanpoppies?
Fanpop: I think that the নকশা of ফ্যানপপ is brilliant for its potential for both organization and complete randomness. On the surface, that may not make sense. The original concept of the site - and I still think it's a good one - was to enable people to collect and categorize all the best content on a particular topic from the web. As long as people খুঁজুন to not duplicate postings and thoroughly tag their submissions so that such searches will work, the site is incredible for its collection of unique, quality content. At the same time, though, it's tremendously easy for someone like me to get distracted দ্বারা spots concerning topics one would never have found any other way. That's just spots - the যেভাবে খুশী image and video features are indispensable to me. Fanpop: the potential for complete randomness, yet well-organized. Brilliant!
Fanpoppies: I'm looking অগ্রবর্তী to camels, plushies, hoverboots, and a somewhat harried look on johnminh's face, myself.
No, seriously: I প্রণয় what the Fanpoppies represent. That is to say, despite the original intent of the site to gather অনুরাগী of external topics, a hardcore, tightly knit group of users has fallen for the site interface itself and created an extremely insular but warm and funny social network on Fanpop. I became aware of this growing network about a বছর ago, and it was the primary reason I made the ফ্যানপপ Users spot, so that there'd be a dedicated place for the people who were অনুরাগী of the system that I saw all over the site to gather and interact. Of course, it wasn't necessary, because since then many such self-referential spots have popped up that have little অথবা no meaning to anyone outside of the small group of dedicated (or crazy-addict) ফ্যানপপ users: the picks spot, the VRSOF, the ATSOF...and this, the Fanpoppy Awards spot. This may seem completely baffling to someone new to ফ্যানপপ as well as 99% of the site's users, but the camaraderie of this group really brightens my experience of the site. Before then, I was just an isolated ফ্যানপপ addict...now I feel like I have a support group.
what gave আপনি the idea to write the ফ্যানপপ users guide?
With the সাম্প্রতিক launch of the picks and image gallery features, the site was getting a huge influx of new users last spring. I'm obnoxiously helpful, but even I was getting tired of constantly answering the same প্রশ্ন over and over in the various forums. The soapbox প্রবন্ধ feature was pretty well established after six months অথবা so, and I figured that if I could write a comprehensive guide on how basic stuff on the site worked, it might forestall some of those questions.

Previous to this I would say "The Office" Spot, but আরো recently it has been the Amy Adams spot.

I would stop the war on terrorism and institute a state of world peace. I would send troops over to impoverished countries to give them supplies and food. I would make it my goal to make sure that there was no child that had to go hungry অথবা die of medically treatable disease just because there is no one who had the knowledge to treat them.

Well my সাম্প্রতিক পছন্দ thing about ফ্যানপপ is the Fanpoppies. Well, my highest medal ranking is Sweden... but I flit around a lot to numerous Spots. Castles is a পছন্দ of mine, along with Vampires, Travel, and Scandinavia... and lately I've been hangin' out quite a bit at Kilt and Renaissance Faires because the RenFest season is upon us. HUZZAH!

Picks and soapboxes. Woo boy. I think I created a hundred of those the first দিন picks were revealed. And soapboxes i have really written my creative juices: I feel like I'm লেখা magazine প্রবন্ধ when লেখা them and adding pictures. Really, all of the features that allow fanpoppers to create their own content are my পছন্দ -- although I have yet to জমা করুন a personally-made video.

I'm so glad people have really responded to that article. I had been submitting a series of প্রবন্ধ recommending বই and the theme of that particular soapbox was বই লেখা about other books/the censorship of books. But while researching what বই have been censored অথবা in danger of censorship, I was shocked to see that বই like "Where's Waldo" and "The Giver" দ্বারা Lois Lowry were on that list. It's fun to see what people think of as quality work. Like the soapboxes, and the অনুরাগী art, and the picks-- they're all so cool and impressive and (sometimes) hilarious. It's great to gather what the people think of as the best and the brightest in one place. But the truth is, that these aren't necessarily the "best and the brightest" only the most জনপ্রিয় for the moment. There's oodles of great content out there and great অনুরাগী that don't get recognized because they aren't as popular. In smaller spots, there are equally exquisite অনুরাগী art etc. And they deserve credit too!

my favourite thing about ফ্যানপপ is all the awesome discussions that go on in the বিতর্ক spot (and others). i spend a lot of my time doing assignments that seem totally irrelevant to real life, so being able to come here and talk about issues that really matter (even if it's just for fun) is really refreshing.

i loved ফ্যানপপ at first because of all the great content. and i still প্রণয় it for that and the community is great and makes me laugh my head off. it's not like other websites where আপনি just মতামত about something. on ফ্যানপপ we have little one on one "conversations" অথবা "series of comments". and even though i can feel like a loser at টেনিস tournaments i know that i've just scored a new medal/prop.

Music Videos, hands down. I'd like to say that I spend a lot of time in one of the bazillion spots that I've created, but no. Cressida is great in many ways, but creating that spot was sheer genius...evil genius, that is. I'd entrench these things with extremely byzantine rules for changing such laws, then I'd go into hiding, doing my level best to avoid any আরো power-tripping (as if that wasn't enough).

Fanpop: I think that the নকশা of ফ্যানপপ is brilliant for its potential for both organization and complete randomness. On the surface, that may not make sense. The original concept of the site - and I still think it's a good one - was to enable people to collect and categorize all the best content on a particular topic from the web. As long as people খুঁজুন to not duplicate postings and thoroughly tag their submissions so that such searches will work, the site is incredible for its collection of unique, quality content. At the same time, though, it's tremendously easy for someone like me to get distracted দ্বারা spots concerning topics one would never have found any other way. That's just spots - the যেভাবে খুশী image and video features are indispensable to me. Fanpop: the potential for complete randomness, yet well-organized. Brilliant!

No, seriously: I প্রণয় what the Fanpoppies represent. That is to say, despite the original intent of the site to gather অনুরাগী of external topics, a hardcore, tightly knit group of users has fallen for the site interface itself and created an extremely insular but warm and funny social network on Fanpop. I became aware of this growing network about a বছর ago, and it was the primary reason I made the ফ্যানপপ Users spot, so that there'd be a dedicated place for the people who were অনুরাগী of the system that I saw all over the site to gather and interact. Of course, it wasn't necessary, because since then many such self-referential spots have popped up that have little অথবা no meaning to anyone outside of the small group of dedicated (or crazy-addict) ফ্যানপপ users: the picks spot, the VRSOF, the ATSOF...and this, the Fanpoppy Awards spot. This may seem completely baffling to someone new to ফ্যানপপ as well as 99% of the site's users, but the camaraderie of this group really brightens my experience of the site. Before then, I was just an isolated ফ্যানপপ addict...now I feel like I have a support group.

With the সাম্প্রতিক launch of the picks and image gallery features, the site was getting a huge influx of new users last spring. I'm obnoxiously helpful, but even I was getting tired of constantly answering the same প্রশ্ন over and over in the various forums. The soapbox প্রবন্ধ feature was pretty well established after six months অথবা so, and I figured that if I could write a comprehensive guide on how basic stuff on the site worked, it might forestall some of those questions.

Really, all of the features that allow fanpoppers to create their own content are my পছন্দ -- although I have yet to জমা করুন a personally-made video.

I'm so glad people have really responded to that article. I had been submitting a series of প্রবন্ধ recommending বই and the theme of that particular soapbox was বই লেখা about other books/the censorship of books. But while researching what বই have been censored অথবা in danger of censorship, I was shocked to see that বই like "Where's Waldo" and "The Giver" দ্বারা Lois Lowry were on that list. Also maybeastarbucks's house will be the place to go for the after party and although no place has yet been officially stated where the awards themselves will be held but considering how big they are I'm reckoning we're going to need all of fandom to host it! So get there early tomorrow to get good seats!
The setting: Fanpoppy awards ceremony. Last year’s winner for Outstanding Contributions to Videos, Neeki, stands at the podium. There is a wave of applause as she reads out the nominees for Outstanding Contributions to Links. The applause eventually dies down and a hush falls throughout the room as Neeki rips open the envelope. The nominees are on the edge of their seat, poised to rush on stage the moment their name is read.
