Why do আপনি guys hate Green দিন so much?

So আপনি don't like The Killers any আরো because some of their অনুরাগী aren't fond of Green Day? Sorry, it doesn't make much sense to me. And "are we human অথবা are we dancer?" অথবা " i got soul but i'm not a soldier". Yes, they mean something. Listen to the entire song and then use your brain a little and something might come to you. Yes, I have listened to Green দিন and am familiar with many songs.I'm not so fond of them purely because it's not my kind of music, i'm not into their punk image which seems a bit contrived. It irritates me. I have nothing against Green দিন fans. If they have something against me then that's too bad. I প্রণয় The Killers because their lyrics mean something to me and are আরো than not wanting to be an "american idiot", they aren't afraid to dip into different styles of সঙ্গীত , creative, Brandon has an amazing voice, and a million আরো reasons which I am not going to go into. And yes, I do like Holiday somewhat and Good Riddance.

Ok. I have just read the little conflict between আপনি and another Killers fan. I just have to say I really don't think আপনি should have attacked someone like that for their opinions. It was insanely and hilariously immature. How can আপনি be so quick to judge someone like that and immediately make assumptions. That really pissed me off. And is them being জনপ্রিয় a reason that people should like them? I thought it was about their "great" music. আপনি say she knows nothing of music. আপনি used to like The Killers but formed your opinion based on what their অনুরাগী say about Green দিন অথবা even what "precious Brandon Flowers" said. While Cassie ব্যক্ত she listened intently and had made no judgements on their সঙ্গীত until after she heard it? Did আপনি even consider what she had to say? She was not the one who made her opinion based upon what others said. আপনি did. How about আপনি do that same with The Killers and if আপনি don't find them to your liking, well that is that. Secondly, calling cassie the "leader" is inappropriate.

Thirdly, before আপনি start harping on at me, I am a HUGE Green দিন fan. Have been since 1994 when I first heard them. I also প্রণয় The Killers (admittedly not their newer stuff...).

My problem here is that people are entitled to like whoever they want to like. There is no obligation for anyone to like Green Day, অথবা The Killers etc. People like what they like, and hate what they hate.

Sure, some people have decided that there is a Green দিন VS The Killers war (probably because of what Brandon ব্যক্ত about Green দিন in 2004). In my opnion, thats lame and stupid and pathetic. We are all allowed to like whatever we want, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone. But we don't have to shit on people who don't like what we like.

What আপনি are doing here is EXACTLY the same thing that আপনি are complaining about. Personally, I think the lyrics "I've got soul, but I'm not a soldier" are very, VERY meaningful. Just as meaningful as some of my favourite Green দিন lyrics. So some people may think that Green দিন lyrucs are just as "meaningless" as The Killer's lyrics that আপনি think are "meaningless".

So, its great that আপনি প্রণয় Green Day, and আপনি don't have to like The Killers if আপনি don't want to, but it seems to me that a lot of Green Day's lyrics encourage people to be themselves, not only দ্বারা standing up for what they believe in, but also দ্বারা accepting differences and celebrating diversity. I think if the boys from Green দিন saw your মতামত here, they would be ashamed that আপনি hadn't picked up on the messages that they have been trying to send their fans.

hmmm. Perhaps it's because everyone has their own taste in সঙ্গীত and it isn't illegal to not like a band? Why in the world would anyone like anyone else less because of other people's opinions? That's a little churlish.

Why I প্রণয় The Killers: They're very diverse with their sound and lyrics, very creative, are a great live band, I KNOW WHAT THEIR LYRICS MEAN and that "are we human, অথবা are we dancer?" and "I got soul, but I'm not a soldier" aren't just যেভাবে খুশী উদ্ধৃতি and that they have a very meaningful background, I প্রণয় the sarcasm they add to their lyrics... All and all, they are just a good, solid band who are underappreciated but I don't really care because if I like them that's all that matters and I won't go complain about others' opinions.

Why I dislike Green Day: Billie Joe's voice pisses me off, 98% of their songs annoy me, their songs sound too much the same, they try too hard to be punk rock when they are indeed not, I just flat out don't care for their songs, sound, style, lyrics, vocals, etc. and they just don't appeal to me. And don't say I don't like them because Brandon ফুলেরডালি doesn't because I've never taken a liking to Green দিন in my whole life and have only been a Killers অনুরাগী for a little over a year. I and several other people in the world can form our own opinions without considering others'. That's what Brandon would call "human".

And I honestly don't care whether অথবা not people like Green দিন অথবা any other band in the world, because it's their personality and actions that I judge them by. I have met Green দিন অনুরাগী who are some of the nicest and decent people I've ever met, I won't let the fact that they like Green দিন অথবা some other band/singer that I dislike get in the way of what could be a great person to know. In my life I've only met one actual Killers অনুরাগী and they're a great person. but I could meet a Killers অনুরাগী who could be the most vile person in the world. সঙ্গীত has nothing to do with personality and I feel somewhat embarrassed for আপনি right now.


FACT: I actually like Holiday and am partial to Boulevard of Broken Dreams.


Seriously, আপনি want to have your own opinion, so why can't everyone else have theirs? You're the one who's ignorant, hating people who don't like Green Day. Grow up.

WOW! I made that pick but i didn't mean for all that to happen! I just wanted to know who likes Green Day. I didn't think The Killers would get involved

Well, The Killers have always been my favourite band, since I was five and I'm thirteen now. To be honest, the way you've written this like (if intended), আপনি have no right to judge us on why we like The Killers অথবা not. I respect your opinion that আপনি like them, so why can আপনি not be the same? Brandon has even apologized for what he has said. Green Day, however, are my 2nd favourite and I প্রণয় them as much as The Killers. I won't ever change that. People always say to me, "How can আপনি like them both after what Brandon ফুলেরডালি said? আপনি do realize that, don't you?" well, it's because I'm actually mature and I can like whoever I want to like. I প্রণয় all my favourite bands the same amount and nobody can ever change that. I listen to them both every single day. Oh, and those words don't even mean anything?
