The Last of the Mohicans Article: Im my opinion they messed it up!!

I loved the actors they got to play in this movie...however, they messed up the romance interest. I am 14 yrs old and have read the book and I was all for Cora and Uncas in the book! I didn't want them to die because i thought that their প্রণয় for each other was so evident! I don't like how they got Cora and Hawkeye together....They should have stuck with the book and IF they had to change it, let the romance from the book of Cora and Uncas come through...has anyone read the book first of all, and do আপনি agree with me অথবা not? PLZ post opinions

makintosh You have a point there. Sad to say, I've not read the book yet but I'm planning to do it. I didn't know Cora and Uncas died in the book! In the movie Uncas was romantically involved with Alice and they both died in the end. However Cora and Nathaniel stayed alive.

Shepard14 What i posted last sounded agressive! I had to edit it! Yes, Cora and Uncas liked each other....If they had to stick with the story line they had...let Uncas and Alice live....

mollyfree Shepard, I read the book and saw the movie. I mostly loved the movie (thought the love scenes were way more explicit than the book) and thought it was so beautifully done that I forgave them most everything. :-) I even visited Chimney Rock Park in North Carolina, where the climax of the movie was filmed, and saw some of the movie costumes that they had on display there. Cora's hat and dress, I think, and Hawkeye's powder horn. BTW, Chimney Rock is every bit as high, and its trails every bit as narrow and scary, and they look in the movie!
