It's actually called Fluffy and it's genderless in the first film but the cub is officially Kiara. Known as Fluffy/Kiara. The filmmakers jokily called it Fluffy on the commentary of 2003 TLK DVD. Kopa on the other hand, exists only in the TLK:SNA books that are not Disney's creation.

The cub is obviously too "yellow" to bee Kiara, she is more orange. And I think it would be weird to show Kiara's birth in two movies... she can be born only once

^^ TLK & TLK 2 are combined as one. Fluffy (the cub in the ending of TLK) is designed as Simba because the creators never decided a gender for the cub until TLK 2 was released. Therefore, Kiara and Fluffy are the same cub.

Fluffy is neither Kiara nor Kopa.First, Kopa doesn't exist and Kiara only made an appearance in two.So that means fluffy is just a symbol of the circle of life it wasn't meant to be an actual character that's actually in the movie.It's just a symbol people.

I agree with boytoy_84, in my mind it's Kiara. The 2 films just had a different portrayal of her birth ceremony.

what if Kopa and Kion are the same cub? Kion is the canon and Kopa is not, but maybe? idk.
