Absolutely. I love the Beatles. The Monkees are still good, but no where near as much.

Haha, Same here! The Beatles are the Best, nobody can compare to them! Yah, the Monkees are fine, but The Beatles, I just love 'em :)

I can never get into the Beatles music or films the way I can get into the Monkees. I love British vocalists, but some of their tones aren't my favorite. Which is why Davy's voice is probably my least fave Monkees vocalist. I do love George Harrison, but the Monkees are tops in my books. Songs like, Mommy & Daddy, Randy Scouse Git, Papa Genes Blues, Listen to the Band, Tapioca Tundra, Porpoise Song, Do I Have to Do This All Over Again, For Pete's Sake, You & I (Davy's most potent song), Tear the Top, Shorty Blackwell & so many others are under-rated gems:)

Their songs are catchier. There are many Beatles songs that I don't like.

Beatles are good and have great songs, but I can relate more to the Monkees. they just seem more friendlier and I can listen to there songs for hours and hours if I could. oh wait... I do.

I'm biased. My parents were not Beatlemaniacs, and the Monkees have always been my favorite group.
